Post title : mission trip to serdang
nothing is impossible for him.

mission trip to serdang was an experiential one. I went with my team, zikang, tobias and amanda together with jorris team to serdang for the trip. :D

here are my team: We serve as usher during their sunday service.. lol..

Singapore team.. hahaha.. We manage to celebrate mid autumn festival together on friday night with UPTEN and Kajang unit together...

ta ta.. here goes the people in Hope Serdang!! :D

This is my group... :D :D all girls group.. We manage to make a handbag and sling bag lantern.. LOL..
We are on our way to KL airport.. This is singapore budget terminal.. lol..

Kajang unit!! :D These people are the one that our team stays with them and be with them for 5 days.. :D

:D
Our last dinner with the kajang leader.. :D We manage to have it at 21st century cafe at a country club house. From there, we can see the overview of part of KL, genting.. A very nice chill out place especially for couples..

We ate snails.. :'( very disgusting.. lol.. you cannot imagine it.. but it taste like normal clams.. but is very .............

We took this pictures at their college at their hall.. We manage to have converts in this school!! :D :D Before we have our prayer walk, we have our worship and praying.. We sing Chinese song!! so meaningful the lyrics... it's also my 1st time share the gospel in chinese too.. :D

This is the place where we have our kajang satay.. it has all sort of meat.. rabbit, crocodile, wild boar, pig liver, beef, chicken, mutton, fish.. The satay is very nice!!

Singapore team! :D
This is malaysia airport's macdonald.. My 1st time seeing alot of housefly in fast food restaurant.. lol.. we have our final pictures in malaysia with helen and her husband from UPTEN unit.. :D

Through this mission trip, it really allows me to expose alot more.. i begin to see the other side of the world and also experience alot more..

It was a tiring and yet meaningful mission trip to me.. I experience and have utilise my time well for this mission trip.. :D
We have a great time fellowship and living with the sisters and brothers in their ministry house.. They really came from different part of malaysia to live together and i can see they are very independent on themselves.. It was a very great exposure..

We also encounter talking to the middle east and africans in their university.. Wow.. they have great knowledge man.. They are all studying for their Phd and are in their 30s.. We also manage to have a prayer walk in their university.. it was great! :D

ok i share my testimony:

In serdang, they have around 3-4 units comprises of different university like UPTEN, Kajang unit and a private university group. They have 1 youth group in the service too.

For my group, we serve in the kajang unit. We are assigned to stay in their ministry house during these 5 days. We manage to meet up some of the middle east people like the Iranians and African people studying for their PHD and master in their university called KPM. We ate lunch together and we manage to share lives together and have a great talk together. One of the guys actually mention to me about the famous evangelist billy graham, came to their country and causes millions of people to come and visit him to hear the gospel. There is a need to involves the police to fetch him as there are too many people and also for the safety and names of the country. They don’t want the famous evangelist to die there and become a world news stating “Africa has 1 famous evangelist die due to being stepped to death.”

This brother from Nigeria, he did wrote a Christian apologetic book before and when I talk to him, I can see that he is very knowledgeable man.

I am quite surprised to see African there and I manage to find out the reason. Malaysia have courses that caters to them more and the school actually offer places for them to study in their university. They can’t find any courses in other Asian country that is suitable for them.

My team and I manage to have a prayer walk in their university and college. We prayed for their land and we can really sense that the spiritual warfare is strong in the school. We manage to walk around the school and expose to the culture there. There are a lot of malays there and we seldom see Chinese in the local university. We went to their Chinese/English school called the new era college. We manage to share Christ there with the Chinese and they are quite different from us.

They will be willing to listen to you but the chance of conversion is very low. But praise god, there is 1 convert from the sisters in Malaysian when they do evangelism in the school.

We manage to fellowship with the brother and sister on Friday night to celebrate mid-autumn festival. We make lanterns of our own within the group and all of us were given one lantern and all of us went to the street around the church to walk and “ti teng long”. it was very nice to see all of us walking on the street together to fellowship and talk to one another. We also get to eat mooncake and drink tea while fellowship together in the church with all the lantern lights surrounds us.

There is one incident where I remember one of the programme they planned for us is to put us in a town area whereby we need to find our way back to the university. It was quite scary as the people there are not very friendly and a lot of pickpockets around. But we manage to overcome this fear by going to the nearby shopping mall to walk around. We took the mini bus without air conditioned and I heard from the brother and sister in serdang that the bus is not very hygienic. Indeed, the bus is very small and we feel like we are going back to kampong lifestyle. We pass by farms and we smell a lot of cow dung and the smell is very bad.

We also manage to serve as usher during their service on Sunday. It was very good as we played a part in serving the people.

We also manage to teach the workshop together as a team. The guys lead the worship and guitarist while the girls support them. We also manage to divide the roles of which topic to teach for each of us. However, due to time constraints, some of them did not manage to teach during the workshop. I can see that they really want to do a part in blessing the people in serdang. My team spirit was very good, they will try their best to give their very best to serve. For e.g. writing cards, making bookmarks, practicing the guitar, giving their best to share testimony and learning to the brother and sister even though they are very tired.

The sister bring us to 21st century café to have our farewell, from there, we can see the nice view of some part of Malaysia, like the twin tower and genting and even much more. It was a very nice place. We also share our lives together during the dinner and we also manage to have a small thanksgiving and speech from everyone.

Through this mission trip, I learn about the way the sister relate to one another very lovingly and they really spend time together, guiding and helping one another. I also learn about their spirit of serving the lord. They prayed very differently from us (they prayed in words together rather than in tongue) and their community is really based on friendship. It really makes me ponder and also want to build this kind of community in my group as well.

Post title : updates
nothing is impossible for him.

back to revive my blog.. lol..

Wow.. It has been long since i update my blog.. ok!

Recently alot of happenings in my lives!!

I enjoyed the Uls retreat during the national day holiday!! We went to upper bukit Timah the hawker there to eat nice food~~ We saw claudia and pastor jeff at there too.. hahahaha.. I enjoyed this year NDP show! It was the best that I see so far! It was good! The program is interesting and creative. We even said the pledge together! hahaha.. funny arh~~ lol..
I enjoyed spending time with different ppl that I normally wont spend time with and get to know them too. I enjoyed playing the Wii with different ppl! It was fun but very tiring..
But I learned alot from the vision thingy, it makes me think far for God and to see even much more greater things happen in bizart and in polydins to even the world.
Vision is very very important.. Normally I hear about this alot of times, but the difference and the importance of vision is what i really learn from this time.

Hohohoho.. I am thinking on what to do for bizart 123.. pray pray pray..

After a short holiday, I feel like i am in the holiday mood during work today morning.. hahaha..

TP Updates:

TPs have our doctrine class recently during the weekdays and I think is good to have it! I learned something too as I attend the class. It was good for our foundation. It touches on theology, doctrine of sin, man, holy spirit and bible.

We have our family day last last week!! It was good! I really enjoyed the games though some of it are mad one.. run and scream like mad when hold the water bottle with one breath to see who run the further..
Thank god for those who planned it.

There will be upcoming evo retreat during the end of Aug! Egg-cited..

Just to ponder, the most important thingy is a powerful prayer life in a christian life..But most of us is finding a way to get to god and yet not able to sense god and fill by god.
Today i was listening to the audio sermon by bill hybels about the christain prayer life.
He talks about how God is interested in our prayer. Whatever we talk to god, we do in our lives, god is interested in what we said to him. We are just like praying to our father in our prayer, as god has a fatherly attitude towards our prayer.

I like what he said about this:

All of our problem is not a problem to God.
phil 4:6 - let your request be known to God.

Let's Pray Pray Pray! have a nice talk with our father everyday!
Have a Shiok time with him everyday so that everyday will be a very shiok day!

On friday night.. went to sing ktv with my colleagues.. :D
It was so cool~~ We sing all ages song!! LOL.. ranging from the 50s till now.. hahaha..
I really enjoy singing with them..
I also get to know one of them more when we went home together.. share deeper thoughts and life together! I appreciate them alot! :D

Gee Gee~~

Pon, li shia ~~

This is my so called supervisor.. hahaha.. fun loving and caring one!! ;)

I realize when I get to relate and talk to the different era group, i get to know more about what is their concern and life they are in and what stage they are going through, is really interesting and i gain alot of knowledge and at the same time life stages that they experienced and give me greater insights of what each stage of life is going through.. I really learn alot from them!:D
