Well, we have been busy this tail end of summer. Our trip to Utah was really fun: got to go out and visit family and friends, and have a nice break from work. We planned our trip so we could both go to the family "Cast Away" golf tournament as well as catch little James Duke's blessing.

Of course, actually GETTING to Utah was another story. Tony and I met up for lunch the day we were heading out, and then were running to the store on the way to the airport to grab a couple extra things. It was going to be a quick stop and we would have been to the airport at least a couple hours ahead of time. That was the plan, anyway. On our way to the store, we were rear-ended, and had to wait around for the police report. We made it to the airport, we thought, just in time- at the ticket counter to print our tickets 35 minutes before our flight. Little did we know that Dulles is dumb and won't issue tickets if you are not there at least 40 minutes before. We missed our flight by five minutes. Dumb, dumb, dumb. So we flew to Dallas Friday night and stayed with Tony's Aunt Camille, then flew to Utah in the morning.

Some time between then and now, our computer's video card crashed and we had to get a new computer (which we are borrowing from my dad for now, until we find one we want to buy). We haven't cleaned off the hard drive yet, so hopefully when we do I can post more pictures of the trip. Maybe I can get the pictures from Seneca Rocks, when we went camping over Labor Day weekend with my family, too.

For now we're just working, looking forward to our mini-vacation this week. We were going to go to Italy, but I couldn't bring myself to buy the tickets. Since we had already asked for vacation off from work, we decided to just work half the week and the other half we'll take off for Charleston, South Carolina. We've never been here, but hear it is really beautiful. I just hope we can get to the beach and tour some southern plantations or something really neat. Well, until then...
