ciao bella...

OK so Michelle today tells me that she called Borders and the gal on the phone was only "99.9%" sure that they would be having a midnight release of, nothing but, the upcoming Breaking Dawn... Of course, that gets in my head and that's just not good enough. So since I'm going to Chipotle for lunch anyway, and it just happens to be right next to Borders, I decide to stop by. As I'm going in, I see that they have 'The Host' on sale. I wasn't going to buy it quite yet, but I figured, eh, go ahead and support Stephenie Meyer a little more so hopefully the promised Midnight Sun comes out eventually.

Plus, I promised my long-time friend Nica I would read it this summer so we can discuss. I must say I was quite excited when, first thing I walk in, there's a lovely display of the entire Twilight series and a nice big sign advertising Breaking Dawn. At the checkout, the guy tells me they are 'absolutely' doing a midnight release!! And, since Tony signed us up for Borders perks or whatever they call it a while ago, it doesn't cost me anything to reserve my copy!!

So, basically, this is the only bookstore we've found in town so far that's doing a midnight release- and Borders will forever be above Barnes and Noble, at least on my list!! (And Borders has redeemed itself from when I originally went and it didn't have Eclipse)

And now I realize I need to get out more...Or read a little less...
