Pictures with Santa

at our ward christmas party Brynlee was at the front of the santa line, and I took her picture. Ty was further down the line and just before he went up I had to go to the car to get something, so I handed Jared the camera and asked him to take a picture of Ty and Cambry together on santa's lap. This was the picture he took. :)

Brynlee turns 5 !!

We had a birthday party for brynlee, on Nov. 14th, her 5th birthday. She is growing up so fast i can't even believe it. Ty and Brynlee actually made the pinata because when I went to the store to buy one they were 20 dollars! I was not going to pay that for a pinata, so I had Ty make the form of a guitar, an brynlee and I wrapped and decorated the outside, and she loved it!

Jared's Project

We have wanted a true mantle for our front room since we bought this house. After we saw an episode of Color splash , Jared decided he wanted to try to make one. He made it out of pine, then distressed te wood and I helped by staining it. We were going for a rustic look. We absolutely love it! It is really large, but the ceilings are so high, it really works.

Cambry's 1st birthday!

Here is a video of Cambry eating her cake, she really chowed on it. I made her a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream in the middle.

Cambry turns 1 !

On November 1st, Cambry turned one! Time flies! She dug into her cake, but not her presents, she had to be coaxed into opening them.

Here are our halloween pictures. Ty was a hunter, Brynlee was Hannah Montana and Cambry was a princess. The kids had a lot of fun. Cambry just wanted to walk down the middle of the street the whole time!

Giant Marigolds

We planted Marigolds this year and they are enormous! they are like tall shrubs. I took pictures of Brynlee in front of them , yes they are taller than her, I wanted her to stand right up next to them but there were bees in the flowers, so that is as close as I could get.

Soccer Time

Ty started up soccer again. These are from his game on saturday. I wanted to get more action shots, but our camera is not that great and I was following Cambry around as she crawled everywhere. They give out little patches this year, and Ty got the only patch, for staying in whatever position he was assigned.

Camping in Cascade

We went for a short camping trip this past weekend . We had a good time, the kids and Jared caught many fish, but they were all pretty small. The mosquitos were insane!! Cambry had a great time putting rocks and sand in her mouth constantly. It was relly beautiful up there, we even spotted a deer across the road from our camp.

Ty the 3rd grader!!

Today was Ty's first day of 3rd grade. He seemes to be growing up literally before my eyes. After school, he told me his teacher was the nicest one he's ever had! What a blessing after his 2nd grade teacher. Also there is a picture of Brynlee, because she insised I take her picture too.

While Andrea was visiting, I made this dress for Brynlee. I am a beginner when it comes to sewing, and Andrea was nice enough to help me. I am really excited with how cute it turned out. My next project will be one for Cambry.

Cousin Party!!
