First Day Of School!

13.1 Miles!!
Two weeks ago Jared, Amber, Andrea and I ran A Half Marathon here in Boise!( the finish line was home plate of the Boise Hawks Baseball team) It was awesome, Jared ran it in 1 hour and 45 min, the girls did it in 2 hours and 30 min. It was the hardest physical thing I have ever done, (aside from delivering a child.) I never thought it was possible, because I am just not a runner, but with my sister here who is a runner, it was easier to stay motivated. It truely amazes me what you can accomplish when you put your mind and heart into something. I will never forget that day, the last 4 miles, my knees, hips and ankles hurt, we were all tired, poor Andrea had a bad cramp, but we kept going and ran the whole way! I was so proud of us all as we crossed the finish line together, It was really special to run with Amber and Andrea. What an experience!

Pinewood derby
Ty had his pinewood derby last week and took 2nd place! He was so excited. Last year he tied for third place and he said to me " mom I just want to do better than I did last year."
Soccer
We just finished spring soccer. Both Ty and Brynlee played this season. Ty's team was undefeated in their age bracket, which was awesome. I dont have any pics of him that were good, the field he plays on is so big I cannot get zoomed in enough with my camera. I did get lots of Brynlee, it was her first season playing and she loved it!

Chicks
Back in March, we got five baby chicks. They are growing so fast. The kids named them: Diamond, Peep, Cheep, Buddy, and Pete. Ty has been doing an awesome job taking care of them, every day he goes out and makes sure they have everything they need. Jared and Ty made a Coop out of the bottom of the play house. The kids really enjoy them. It is pretty cool to see them wandering around the yard, We are all enjoying them much more than I thought we would.

Easter Pictures
We had a wonderful Easter. The kids had a blast, even though it was freezing outside. Cambry is a little candy thief, finding candy whenever she can and sticking it in her mouth as quickly as possible. In one of the pictures Cambry is squinting one eye, she does that sometimes when we talk to her, we call it the pirate eye.
First fishing trip of the year
Ty and Jared went fishing in March and did really well, they caught only crappie, but it was a good trip. Fishing is Ty's favorite thing to do, so he was thrilled with their catch.

Christmas Snapshots
Sorry it has been so long since we posted. These are a few snapshots from Christmas morning. We had a great day, Ty and Brynlee loved opening presents, while Cambry loved stting and climbing on them.
