It's that time of year again.

I love recital season. It's so fun to watch Ella on stage. :) My sister took these awesome photos of her in her costume before her show. I am in love with them.

Didn't they turn out awesome?! Thanks Auntie Cass!

Now for the show. I was lucky enough to be backstage with her this year! Here she is after her performance. :)

Here she is with Miss Lynn. Her dance teacher since she was two, and a dear friend of mine. We are super bummed she is moving on to the big girl classes and will have to switch teachers.

Here's Ella and her friend Jayna from her class. They had so much fun together this year! Too bad Ella hated the itchy costume and had me change her before we got out after the show.

BJ's was the dinner of choice. She chose her own outfit. Heels and all. Doesn't she look so big here?

Auntie Em sent some of her ballet statues to Ella for her recital. She adored them!

I am going to skip ahead a bit. I still have to collect the photos from California in April. I forgot my camera so various people took pictures for me.

Back in May, we bought Ella a new bike so she could learn to ride a two wheeler! That same day we decided to give Carter a try and he rode off into the sunset. Quicker than his sister, but they both did it! We decided not to make him ride Ella's old purple bike (aren't we nice?). We sold it and got him a new one too. I don't have a great video of Ella for some reason, I will work on that. Here's one of Carter for now. Ignore my annoying talking in the video. You may just want to mute your speakers. :)

Siblings.

It never ceases to amaze me the things they can get each other to do. This particular day below, Ella did Carter's hair. The gel didn't come out for days. :)

And she is just a sweet little thing isn't she? If only she was all the time!

We like ipad time over here. And sometimes we get creative in how we watch it. :)

Brady is way more fun than I am. I will admit. Ever since I started my pilates stuff I come home to the most random things. He is so much more willing to play their game sometimes. I am glad for that fact. They get to do a lot of things they wouldn't do otherwise. 10 points for dad! Below they are displaying their elephant costumes they made. I still have no idea why!

How does she manage to get him to do such girly things sometimes is beyond me!

Yep, sparkly make-up. He's gonna love that one when he gets older. Almost as much as when he wanted us to dress him up in her dance clothes. He already hates that one. Gets mad when I pull it up. Oh well!

Easter time

Well we made it to Easter. I feel like this year has flown by! The kids even look younger in these pictures. Easter is a blur in my mind. It happened so fast. Brady got home the night before from the UK. We hurried and dyed eggs since we still hadn't gotten around to it yet. Kids didn't seem to be affected at least.
