Blessed Steps

Will you come and follow me if I but call your name? Will you go where you don’t know and never be the same? Will you let my love be shown, will you let my name be known, will you let my life be grown in you and you in me? The more influence God has extended to me by his grace, the more fearful I am of using it.  #truestory (I just want to be more discerning in the influence i might exert on other people) "To whom much is given, much is required;    and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. " Luke 12:48 Have I been using the influence God has given me for the highest and best purposes that could be achieved? Or have I been fearful and just chickening out about not wanting to get involved in? Could i be massively more helpful to situations that are happening around? Many times we don't seek to maximize the influence we have  most of us have more influence than we think we do  if you start meeting with younger people that you love, you could probably make a bigger investment in their lives than you think you could. Find mentors who can help you in different areas of your life.  There WON'T be ONE Know-It-All who can mentor you in EVERY areas of your life, but  There will be one each, who can mentor you in: 1. Relationship 2. Theology 3. Leadership 4. Health 5. Money .....  These people are usually very busy people,  (explains the fact that their lives are already successful and in shape that's why you wanna learn from them) Approach them and ask to : 1. buy them a meal 2. ask them 3 questions which you have thought very well through 3. don't bug them down too much  4. healthy relationship and effective learning Check out the above content from the 3+min video below: Bill Hybels- Self Mentoring Part 1
