Our Other Little Man

Since I did a post of Luke, I thought I better do one of Eli too! This is the latest picture I have of Eli. He just woke up from a nap so he's a little dazed but isn't he such a handome little man! It's amazing how much he has grown since his birthday!

Luke's First Sleepover

Seth and I had a very special visitor this past weekend! Mom and Brandi brought Luke to Huntsville for his first overnight trip. He was such a good baby!! Especially for being away from home! Seth kept reminding me all weekend that I couldn't have one right now... meaning a baby. :) I was okay with that, as long as Luke will keep coming to visit! Here are some pictures of our growing boy!

Luke and his favorite cousin. :)

Luke and his other favorite cousin....cause he let Luke watch tv with him!

Aunt Neesie and the pretty baby boy.

Okay, now here you can see the many faces of Luke. He is one of the most expressive babies I've ever seen!

He also laughs A LOT! It's easy to get him giggling...he even did a little belly laugh for us. Cute!

I think his first trip totally wore him out! Brandi said he slept almost the entire way home!

New Year's Resolutions

Usually, I am not too good with keeping my New Year's resolutions......however, this year is gonna be different! (I hope!) Seth and I have made two goals for ourselves this year.

(1) Read the Bible from front to back. We are trying to read the Bible together every night before we go to bed...which has been a great way to end the day.

And (2) Exercise regularly. So far, so good! We are getting up and going to UAH's Fitness Center before work every morning...yes, that would be 5:30 AM! It can be extremely hard to roll out of bed, but once you step out the door and the cold air hits your face, you are awake and ready to go! I was skeptical about getting up that early, but I have really enjoyed it! It gets me going and I am a LOT less sluggish when I get to work.

So, stay tuned to see how long we keep this going!

Santa Came!

Ok, so I meant to post this back before Christmas, but things got a little hectic and I totally forgot! Santa came to see me early this year and brought me this!

(This isn't the exact one we got...but it's raining today, so I didn't want to get out in it to take a picture of ours. Sorry. :) But it looks just like it!)

We have been looking for a new vehicle for a while and finally we came across this '08 Altima, with low mileage, and loved it! We had been trying to talk them down to a lower price for about a month. Then one morning Seth saw on their website that it was on an "internet sale". Sooo, we jumped on it! We are loving it so far! It drives so smooth! AND we checked our gas mileage when we went to Tennessee for Christmas...35 miles per gallon!! That makes the car worth every penny!! :)
