...I have reached the point where I am absolutely and perfectly content sitting on a blanket in the front yard...

Space and Rocket Center
Seth's employeer, Torch Technologies, recently treated us to a Family Day at the Space and Rocket Center. Since neither of us had been in the past decade or more, we went and had a great time! Here is one picture that I took. I thought it turned out very nice and artistic. :) Haha...I'm always excited when I accidentally take a really neat picture.

Do you have Kookamongaphobia??
We thought the answer would be "NO!" until the mammoth burger showed up at our table....The Kookamonga Challenge: 4 pounds of beef, 2 pounds of a custom hamburger bun, 1.5 pounds of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onion, and chesse....amounting to a whopping 7.5 pound cheeseburger!! And don't forget that it comes with fries!!

A few months ago we saw where the tv show Man vs. Food had visited Kooky Canuck in Memphis to try to conquer their Kookamonga Challenge. So, while visiting the folks last weekend, they decided to take us to a Redbirds game and to attempt to eat this burger ourselves. Of course, for the real challenge, you must eat the entire burger ALONE in 1 HOUR! We split it between the four of us and took our sweet time! Seth was able to chow down half the burger, I had a fourth, and my parents split the other fourth. And man were we STUFFED!! (We also had deep fried pickles as an appetizer. YUM!) It was actually a very tasty burger and the theme of the restaurant is very unique.

Afterwards we walked over to Autozone Park for the Memphis Redbirds game. Their park is supposed to be one of the best in the minor league. It was very nice and clean and open. It had the feel of a major league park...just on a smaller scale.

Although we lost the game, we had a great time! And, if you ever find yourself in Memphis and VERY hungry...Kooky Canuck is the place to go!

Home Sweet Home
Seth and I made the drive up to Henderson this past weekend to visit my family. We hadn't been up there in a couple months, so it was nice getting to see everyone for a little bit. ESPECIALLY this little face...
Our little Luke is growing up so fast! He changes so much every time we get to see him! This time he was getting soooo close to walking! He'll be into everything before his mama and daddy know it!
We also enjoyed some time playing the Wii. My parents are trying to decide if they want to buy one, so they borrowed one for the weekend for us to test out.
We even got my grandparents in on the action!!
We also all watched as Luke had his first taste of watermelon. It takes so little to amuse us!
Luke loved it! Notice the corner missing from the watermelon on the next picture. Adam stole a bite from him! Adam got quite a few dirty looks from Luke after that!

Beach Vacation
Okay...I need some suggestions. My family is thinking about renting a condo in the Gulf Shores area next summer for a few days. We've never done the condo thing before, so I need some ideas for places to stay. Right now, we're looking at Phoenix West. But I'd love some ideas for other places to stay! Any suggestions???
