Christmas and a baby

Shortly after opening presents Christmas morning, the kids wanted to eat breakfast and watch Despicable Me with their blankets and bean bags. They were a hoot!

Every time we wrestle, Jesse demands that we wear masks to make us look tougher. He's never seen Nacho Libre, but I think when he does we'll be getting requests for "real" wrestling masks. :)

Mimi is a great help with the new baby.

Spencer was surprisingly excited to hold Tanner for the first time!

So our little baby was born Dec 18th at 7:30 pm. My eyes always feel dry after our kids are born! In many of the pictures immediately after our 4 children have been born, my eyes are squinting or shut from the stinging! Anyways, I was trying to keep em open for this picture, but they shut completely on their own for like five seconds right before the picture was taken.

Spencer and Mimi occasionally use our camera

to take a bunch of random pictures throughout the

house. They really enjoy it and its good practice with

the camera, we just end up having like three hundred

pictures to delete when they're done. While cleaning

up the camera after Spencer had a turn with it, we

found this video if him blogging about life in our home!

Its so funny! (He is learning dates and gets confused with the year.)

Happy Birthday Spencer!!

Spencer wanted us to decorate halloween

cookies for his birthday! It was fun.

Jesse loves eating the cookies.

Mimi decorated the pumpkin.

Spencer decorated the bat.

He was so excited to get a DS!!

It made his day that he got two new guns

He said DAD now we can shoot each other.

Summer vacation!

of cats.

Jesse was content just throwing rocks into the pond.

Spring caught some tad poles to show the kids. It was cool!

Summer Vacation

We went to Utah and Idaho this summer for vacation. It was great seeing family

and having a break from school. Jesse loves his goggles, and is slowly beginning to

tolerate his headband he wears since having the tubes put in his ears. He looks hilarious!

One of the highlights of this trip was fishing in Idaho!

The kids caught lots of fish with their little fishing poles.

Mimi was petrified of the squirming fish at first and finally

conquered her fears and became quite brave reeling fish in and

posing with them for pictures.

The kids were TIRED!

Spring finally arrived

When we finally got a warm day, the kids made it very clear that we needed to get outside. We all drove to our favorite play ground and had a blast playing around. Here are some of the pics!

Daddy Daughter Dance

This is the picture from our first daddy daughter dance. We had so much fun! All Mimi wanted to do was dance. (She loves to dance just like Spring.) She kept asking me to twirl her and dip her. it was a lot of fun, and a good work out. She demanded that I carry her so that she could feel like Cinderella. By the end of the night, my arms were exhausted, and sore the next day. We had lots of fun though and can't wait to do it again. I told her that someday she would be going to dances with her friends. She said she'd only go with her friends if the rest of her family (Spring, Spencer, Jesse and I) would go with her. I told her I'd hold her to that. She promised me that she wouldn't change her mind. :)
