Bailey the Banker

At dinner tonight Bailey said she wanted to work at the bank and pass out money to people and suckers to kids. She told me that she would email me when she didn't have any customers and then said that her bank would be open until 8:00. Too funny!

A while back, Judd and Bailey attended Sealy High School's graduation to see the students from our church who were graduating. On the way home, Bailey said, "Cole is so lucky. He gets to go to college before me." Thank you, Toy Story 3 and annual trips to Baylor Homecoming for instilling the desire to go to college into my daughter!

65 years

Judd's grandparents celebrated 65 years of marriage today. Me-mommie has been in a nursing home/rehab center since she broke her hip a few months ago. The center put together a "wedding" where Me-Mommie and Grandaddy renewed their vows and shared cake and punch with family and friends. What a wonderful, Godly example of marriage these two have been to us all!

Saying "I do," again!

Summer Fun

We have enjoyed our first week of summer! The kids started gymnastics on Monday. Bailey did great! Campbell, not so much. He clung to his momma the whole time, so next time I'm not going out on the floor with him. It's a "mommy & me" class, but if they're over 3 they can go by themselves. We're going to try that and see if he does any better.

We got a little plastic pool with a slide at Wal-Mart and it was the best $30 we could have spent. It's the perfect way to cool off in this heat and the kids love it!

On Tuesday evening we went swimming at the Sealy's with the youth. The kids had a great time! They think they're a part of the youth group!

We're looking forward to a great summer...more gymnastics, swimming, hanging out with friends, and a few trips "home" to visit family...loving this time we have together!

Grandmothers

This picture of all four of our grandmothers was taken in the fall of 2002 at one of my bridal showers. Both of my grandmothers have passed away since then, so it was especially special finding this precious picture. I just love it!

Kindergarten Graduation

This time last year, Bailey was graduating from preschool. How can it be that an entire year has gone by and now she has completed kindergarten? Bailey did so well this year! We LOVED kindergarten and LOVED her teacher, Miss Braswell. She was perfect for Bailey! We saw Bailey grow in so many ways and learn so many things this year. We are so proud of her!

Bailey got the "Outstanding Citizenship" award!
When we got home Bailey told me that Miss Braswell didn't know it, but she was supposed to get the Outstanding Tatenndance award. I corrected her by telling her that it's attendance and that she was sick too many times this year so she didn't get that award. Bless her heart...she still thinks she should have gotten the Outstanding Tatendance award!
