Lights at Temple Square

Justin and Julie were in town for Thanksgiving. So we all decided to go see the lights downtown. We rode trax and the kids loved it!

Thanksgiving 2011

We were with the Clegg side of the family for Thanksgiving.

Adam is wearing the necklace that Collin and Ty made for him. He wears it well.

After dinner we listened as my dad read aloud all of the things we are thankful for. We had to guess who wrote what. It ended up being quite entertaining.

We are so grateful to have Grandma June still with us! She is 96 years old and still going strong!

Before I was sustained as Relief Society President I spent some time at the Jordan River Temple. I love to be in the temple. I love the peaceful feeling of letting go of everything else that bogs you down in life. Everything is somehow simplified as you walk through the doors of the temple. I was blessed with an overwhelming feeling of love as I visited the temple the weeks prior to being sustained. I was assured that my Heavenly Father loves me and will always be there for me. I was comforted with the thought that I was on His side, and that was a really good place to be.

Breaking Dawn Premier

I have gone to all of the "Twilight" premiers with my cute twilight pals Karey and Scarlett. We are down to the last couple of movies to enjoy our fun little obsession. I loved reading the Twilight series, but what I really loved about it was that it created common happy ground and friendships with so many people. I went to the second Twilight "New Moon" premier when Kate was just 7 days old! You better believe I was not going to miss out! It's been a fun couple of years! What will we do when it's all over?

Kate Turns TWO!

Happy Birthday to our baby girl!

Kate brings a whole new life to our family. She is sassy and spunky. She is sweet and funny. We love her so much!

The morning of Kate's birthday I was called to be Relief Society President in our ward. I was overwhelmed with with emotion that day, but mostly just love. It will be an exciting journey!

We also had other exciting family news! Jesse's sister Heidi had a baby girl "Gracie Rebecca Smith" born on October 21st. We met baby Gracie for the first time that night. Isn't she adorable? Holly is holding and sweet talking her.

It's Autumn Time!

We decided to rake up the leaves since we heard a storm was moving in...

But before you can clean, I guess you need to play!

Jesse loves passing out Candy! (As long as it's not the "cheap" candy). He was happy to pass out candy until we ran out of the candy bars. When it came down to the penny candies and taffy (that I wanted to get rid of) left in the bowl he put it in the car and said we were out.
