18 months ang growing
Our little guy went for his 18 month check up a couple weeks back He was 34 1/3 inches tall and weighed 29.5 pounds. The doctor was very please with his progress since his tubes went in and his adenoids were removed. Jeff & I have noticed a big improvement in his speech, attitude, and just overall we can tell that he feels better!
Here is what's going on in B's world
He still loves is "LaLa" (Elmo) & Blues Clues. He goes around the house yelling MAIL ~ so we sing the mail song and he does the little dance.
Bennett is all about helping ~
he wants to be the one to give Higgins his treats.
He tells the girls to SIT before he puts down their bowls.
When we vacuum he gets out his popper and pushes it around.
He like to help wash dishes (ok he probably is just playing with the water oh well)
Lets just hope this lasts for the next 17 years lol..
He got is first hair cut recently and was quite the big boy.
He's wearing a size 7 shoes and mostly 24 month / 2t clothes.
Here are a few B pics....
Bennett before his surgery...
Bennett after ~ look at his little cheeks, poor baby!About 5 hours and 2 popsicles later he was back to his old self.

What we've been up too
Well I have yet again fallen off of the blogging ban wagon, but I'm going to try (key word here) to get back on.
There are several reasons why I haven't been blogging, Bennett has been feeling crappy, 3 ear infections in 8 weeks! So on March 12th he is going to get tubes in his ears and his adenoids removed. I know this is a routine procedure (I've actuality had tubes 7x myself) but if you could please keep Bennett in your prayers we would greatly appreciate it.
On a Bennett note he's 331/2 inches tall and weighs about 28lbs. He's talking and signing more now, telling us what he wants. He's very serious about coloring and brushing his teeth. Elmo (or LaLa as he call him) is still his favorite. He's running now, trying to jump and he climbs on everything.Typical little boy. I love to see the world through his eyes ~ everything is so new.
And then there has been this Twilight saga business; I must apologize to my friends Sykora and Kathleen, who I laughed at terribly when they told me to read these books.I kept saying I was not going to read some silly vampire book - I'm eating my words! I WAS WRONG!!! Jeff & I caught Twilight on TV, and it was over after that. I went and bought all 4 books and read them in a matter of a couple weeks. My friend Brandy and I even found a movie theater that was still playing New Moon, and went to see at 9:45pm on a Thursday night! I totally see why everyone loves these stories, they are really good. But they should come with a warning ~ you become totally addicted!!! Jeff kept saying "when am I going to get my wife back?" Well I finished the last one today & I'm kinda sad; what to read now??? Any suggestions???
Jeff and I also went to several events/concerts this last month ~ our 2 favorites were the Black Eyed Peas, they gave an extremely high energy show, and Jimmy Buffett ~ he was just great, it was one big beach party!!!!
And other than that we've been working lots (to much if you ask me...), waiting on snow that's just not coming our way, had some fun play dates with some of B's friends, and just trying to keep up with the day to day stuff.

Well that is our update, I hope to post again soon.
Goodnight!!!

Christmas Rewind
Here is our Christmas Rewind....................
We spent the Christmas holiday at our house this year, for the first time ever we normally travel to see family, but this year they came to us! This Christmas was the most wonderful Jeff & I have ever experienced, Bennett was a big part of this.
During the Christmas season, we spend days decorating the inside and outside of the house (it didn't use to take days, but with a toddler things get a little crazy), absolutely love watching the 25 days of Christmas on ABC Family, and just truly enjoy everything about that time of year.
Here are several pics of our Christmas season.

Bennett helping his Dad set up the tree.
Bennett pretended to water the tree almost every day - it was too funny.
Bennett inspecting the first gift under the tree.
Maybe I'll just take a nap on Higgins.
Super B putting on the tree topper.
Me & B with Frosty
Our second trip to see Santa - the first was no better, oh well
Bennett just looking cute by some of our outside decorations.
Bennett & Auntie Sarah
Bennett hitting up Great-Grammy for a treat
here's Great-Grammy giving in, hahaha! He kept signing "more more" and when we would say "there is no more" - He would throw his hands up and say "Gone" just looks sad, it was kinda funny.
Us in front of St. Augustine Christmas Tree
B first thing Christmas morning
The tree after Santa's visit.
Bennett carefully handing me his bow.
Here we are looking pretty serious....
Bubba break!!!!!!
Bennett & Higgins playing with his space ship, they go round and round in this - every day.
B & Higgins are truly best buddies.
Checking out a Christmas singing toy - I love these things
( have several - they are a guilty pleasure of mine), I think I have passed my love for them to B.
Dr. Bennett
And lastly - Christmas could not be complete without Wilber the Christmas Pig!!!
Well that was a few of our pics - I hope your family a blessed Christmas.
