Memorial Day Fun

For Memorial Day we went to Cotter, Arkansas for a trip with Cheryl and Kirk. They all went fishing, but I am definitely not that Talented!

We had a ton of fun, and there are LOTS of pictures, but I just couldn't choose, so hopefully you don't get bored!

all of the kids had so much fun together!

While the husbands went fishing for the day we hung out and went on a hike of our own.

Cade's train was the toy Daniel was SO excited to play with, and he sure had fun with it!

Cheryl was feeding him, then she moved for less than 2 seconds...

happy to empty the toy box!

We found a cave, it actually went really deep. I was way to scared to go any deeper than this.

This was the view from the top of the mountain we hiked to.  Below is our family hike picture.

It took him a few minutes to get used to the cold river water, eventually he had a blast.

one morning a few weeks ago Joshua and I got up WAY too early-at least he was happy!

How often do you see a FULL rainbow? We even got Daniel out of bed to show him-although I don't think he remembers.

Daniel LOVES to hold Joshua-I am constantly taking pictures of the two of them hoping for something good!

Swings, T-Ball, Kisses

Joshua's first time in a swing. He did pretty well, but he got bored after a while. It was fun being able to push both boys together.

Daniel loves the swings. I can get him to laugh every time.

For Christmas, Alan got us a t-ball set. What a great idea! This is the first time using it, but Daniel has had a lot of fun since!

Joshua loves to be outside, and the walker is the perfect place for him to sit. He also likes playing in the grass (and eating the grass.) Notice our garden in the background.  We have plants planted in reusable Walmart bags. They are working pretty well, but we will see if we actually get anything out of it.

Happy Mothers Day Mom! Daniel loves to sit with Joshua!

We got a grill for Mother's Day. We are both pretty excited, but it might be more for Jason than me. He loves to grill. Our first grilled meal was bacon, avocado hamburgers, YUM!! I LOVE a good hamburger on the grill!

Mother's Day Story:  I got up about 6 with Daniel and turned on a show for him so that I could go back to bed. I went out and there were beautiful flowers on the dining room table! There were also 4 kisses sitting in front. The note said “here are 4 kisses, one from Daniel, one from Josh, and 2 from me”. It was cute. I turned on the show and went to lay down.  When I did get up, Jason was working on making breakfast and I noticed my chocolate kisses were missing. I asked Jason where they went and he told me he hadn’t eaten them.  Well, it turns out that Daniel ate ALL 4 of my chocolate kisses. I guess I had taught him well though because all of the wrappers were in the garbage :).

6 Month Mark

Joshua is 6 months old! He is sitting up, smiling, laughing, playing and loving. He is such a beautiful boy and we have TONS of fun with him. Daniel loves having a baby brother, and he loves to give him hugs and kisses. Daniel also loves to get toys for Josh, and stuff the binky in his mouth.  Joshua is a really happy kid. He takes 2-3 naps a day and eats solids 3 times a day as well as nurses 4-5 times a day.  I love his smiles and laughs, they make me really happy!

Some of you probably think that all of these pictures look the same, but in all reality they are all very different and they all reflect the different expressions of my baby.  If you don't care too look at them all, that is fine, but I figured all of the grandparents would enjoy looking at lots of Joshua pictures.
