We made it to Colorado-a week and a half ago.

Just a random, happy picture

The boys had a great time "helping" load the moving truck!!

After the movers took everything, this is what we used!

At a hotel on the drive to Colorado, going for a ride.

This is what the boys and I did while the movers moved our things into the new apartment. It was FREEZING cold, Daniel had lost his coat-seriously how do you loose a coat?, and Joshua was SO tired he fell asleep on my lap. I held them both most of the time they were moving things in because it was so cold. We had fun!

Daniel has had a BLAST with his train set. We don't have tons of toys unpacked, so the trains have been the favorite-but only when Joshua is asleep.

We are Moving!

For those of you who don't know-we are moving! We have been packing things up for over a week, and we are pretty much ready to go! Our house has been a disaster and still is, but soon it will be empty! We are going back to Fort Collins, Colorado because Jason's contract here in Illinois is over.

We are excited to go, but we will really miss our friends that we have made here. We leave next Friday to make the drive with 2 kids, 2 cars, lots of hours, lots of miles, and tons of FUN!
The boxes are the best part!

The kids have enjoyed helping Dad!

This is our family room after emptying the first load from our storage unit. Luckily the kids were asleep.

Daniel LOVES to help and use Daddy's tools!

This is the middle of packing up the kitchen-so fun!

This is the pile of boxes in the boys room. The pile is bigger now, but you get the idea.  The boys are sleeping just to the right (you can see the pack n play and Daniels mattress is on the floor).

During one load of emptying the van of stuff from the storage unit, we put the kids in the pack n play so we wouldn't run them over while going in and out of the house.

Christmas for our Family

Santa's Display

Joshua's favorite thing was the candy canes from the stockings. It wasn't even the candy that was cool, it was the shaker noise.

Joshua had just as much fun as Daniel Opening presents-he was just a little slower.

Daniel's new pillowcase that I made for him.
Wooden beads were another fun toy that both kids enjoyed.

Joshua's book

Daniel LOVES books, he got several for Christmas!

The farm was a gift for Joshua, but both boys have had a lot of fun with all of the animals.

Daniel loves to cook with us, so I made him an apron that is just his size. he wanted to cook as soon as he put it on :). I am glad he liked it.

I found this truck at a yard sale this summer for a quarter. This was definitely the best deal i got this year.

The train set I got for a dollar-also a great deal.

The only thing Daniel wanted from Santa was a firetruck that "makes lights and noises."  We had to go buy one.
