We also had Grandma and Grandpa Smith!

We kept really busy with both sets of Grandparents here, but we sure did have a lot of fun!
Daniel liked putting in the "code" on the license plate to get the trunk open.
This is what my dad wrote about it :
I had to get some things out of the car trunk and Daniel was there to help me. I told him to push 5-4-5-4 on the license plate and as he did I pushed the trunk button in my pocket. He showed Julie and Lindsey both how he could open the trunk with the magic code. It was fun.

out on a hike

these boys would listen to books ALL day if someone would read to them all day!

Happy Boys

This is the kids picnic table that I grew up with and we now have it in our kitchen. The boys LOVE eating and coloring at it.

They will tackle anyone they see :)

Grandma and Grandpa Flamm Came!!

We blessed Luke at Church on May 25, 2014. We were blessed to have both sets of Grandparents come for the event. Jason's parents came the Thursday before the blessing and were able to stay clear til the following Tuesday. It was so Fun. My parents got here late Friday night and left Monday morning since they had to get back to work. Here are some pictures of our time with Grandma and Grandpa Flamm.
LUke enjoys listening to book for a bit.

Jason is redoing our swing set, and his dad was a huge help to make progress on that!

Kristine thought our chairs were dirty (and they were) So she spent a while on Saturday morning cleaning them.

Daniel just can't get enough of that phone.

or the computer

the boys sure love their uncle Eric

A cave we found on the hike

Eric helped the boys build a car track outside

Daniel had fun with Grandpa

Hiking together

This is the swing set that Doug helped Jason with. it still isn't done, but they were able to make some great progress on it.  We hope to have it finished before too long.

Luke at 4 Months

  •  Luke has some of the biggest smiles...it's like he can't hold up his head because he smiles so big!
  • Luke loves to kick.  He holds his head up really well!!  He will follow objects with his eyes.  He will sit in the exersaucer or the jumperoo with no problems holding up his head.

  • Luke likes to blow bubbles with his mouth. He talks all of the time.  He enjoys laying on his tummy for a little bit. Likes to hold and suck on toys.
    •
  • He eats every 3-4 hours.  He wakes up in the morning around 6 and I feed him.  Then typical eating times are: 9:30, 12:30, 4, and 7:30.  He goes to bed after his last feeding and sleeps through the night (although he always wakes up at 5 am and I can usually get him to go back to sleep).   He always takes a nap between feedings, sometimes it is an hour, sometimes it is 2 ½ to 3 hours.  He is doing really well at falling asleep on his own. I don’t know exactly what is signs of tiredness are, I just pay attention to the clock at how long he has been awake.  He is usually awake 1 hour and 30 min to 1 hour 45 minutes. Sometimes he is awake 2 hours. It is definitely getting longer. If I time it right I sing him a song, wrap him up, and he falls asleep quickly on his own.  Yeah!
  • Up around 6. Eats and sleeps. Goes with mom wherever (store, take Daniel to preschool, friends house, park, etc.)

  • Luke likes it when we sing to him. He will kick his legs and get really excited. He loves it when we smile at him cuz he always has the BIGGEST smiles back for me. He likes to play with Daniel, Daniel can always get him to laugh, smile, and just to be happy.  He loves eating, sleeping, and toys.
Luke LOVES to suck on his hands, it is the toy that is always there.
