My life mostly revolves around Sienna, which I think most people know already. So therefore my blog is mostly about Sienna, and all of her amazingness...but lately we have had some other happenings also! Just thought I'd throw out a brief update.
My pregnancy is going very well. I'm now almost 29 weeks which means 3rd trimester is underway! It's almost like my body said to me "Well, 2nd trimester is over so now it's time for you to feel exhausted again." I truely feel exhausted every day by 11AM. At least I can still eat, no upset stomach like 1st trimester. Sienna is already being quite the loving sister to her unborn brother. She likes to give him "lovepokes" and hugs, and she's even had a few one sided conversations with him! It does help that she has lots of one sided conversations with her many imaginary friends, gives her practice! We'll see how long all of this love continues here in a few months when her brother is really here. I'm sure we'll have some adjusting to deal with...
We decided to start our house hunt! Yeah! It's very fun for me to look at homes. My favorite part is trying to imagine our life taking place inside the walls I'm looking at. We're planning on trying to find something that we can live in, but work on too. We don't need it to be perfect, but definetely something we can move into immediatly. We could have possibly already had 2 different ones, but we both felt for whatever reason like we needed to wait just a bit longer. We know the right one will come along. But now we have seen all that there currently is in the area we're looking, so now we just wait. As more are listed we'll see them. Could come quickly, or not! Good thing we've got a great home in the meantime (Thanks Mom)!
I suppose the last bit of unexciting news would be that my job duties changed again at work. Instead of working at the front desk of my dental office (like I've been doing for the last 8 months), I'm now in the back again dental assisting. Dr. Medaugh said he really needed my help in the back office to reorganize and regroup the assistants. So actually more than assisting at this point, I've been doing other odd and end things to try to help things run smoother. It's definetely a different type of business for me than front desk. I'm allowed to take breaks whenever I want because the doc knows it puts more strain on me than just sitting up front, but when your busy with 10 different projects at once, and only have 2 days a week to complete them, it can be difficult to take breaks! It's mostly a good change, but it has it downsides too. Who knows what will happen after my maternity leave, I could be anywhere then!
I think that about does it for us! As new stuff arises, I'll be sure to post a new update. Thanks for being our friends and reading about our lives!! Love to all!

Rainy Day
She started out mostly dry...
At the beginning of August, we had some massively rainy days here in Colorado. It was really nice, until the first snow...then I started wondering what happened to Fall?? Anyhow, this particular rainy day Sienna was home with her Dad and Auntie Caitlin. They stayed nice and dry in the garage whilst Sienna played and played and played in the rain! As you can see they all had a ball! Sienna's dress was completely drenched and even after her bath later this same night she went back into the rain and danced some more!
By the way, she did not get sick, and I did not get mad...:)

Our Trip to Idaho/Wyoming
one of the best views of the Tetons. I also wanted to show the inside of the cabin, so here's the only shot that sort of shows that.
After all of the family left we had 3 days more. At first I almost said "Lets just go home, what do we do by ourselves?" But then of course what I really needed was time to just relax, and realize that we could now do whatever we wanted! So we ended out going to Yellowstone one day, and driving all the way to the North rim of the park to see Mammoth Hot Springs (not as impressive as we had hoped, now I know why that's the only part of the park I'd never been to) we probably won't do that again. The southern loop is the most amazing part of the park by a longshot! It brought back a lot of memories for me as it's the 20th anniversary of the big Yellowstone fires. I was there that year, and I have very vivid memories from that trip, it's amazing the amount of regrowth that has happened since then. You can still see all of the burn areas very clearly though too.

My Quirky things...
Okay, so here goes! I have been "tagged" by my sister in law Tracy to confess 6 things about myself that are quirky. I'm probably more quirky than most, so this SHOULD be easy, we'll see!
1. Whenever I eat french fries, I have them 2 at a time, and they have to be similar in length and shape. I think this originated in High School because I could scoop more ketchup that way, but now everyone that I eat out with notices and they think I'm strange...
2. I can't stand ironing! I will let my "iron pile" get large before ironing so I don't have to lug out the ironing board very often. I will also never let my clothes sit in the dryer for fear that I would have to iron more, so they always come out hot, and get folded to perfection immediatly!!
3. For whatever reason, if I want to shower and "get ready" all at once in the mornings, it always takes me an entire hour. No matter what I do to try and do it in less time, it always is an hour. If I shower at night then my mornings go much more quickly.
4. I'm afraid of getting those freaky "superbugs" that are talked about all over my home if I use too many antibacterial cleaners, so I don't use antibacterial handsoap or cleaners. I use as mild of soap as I can find and figure that it will clean what needs to be cleaned. I save the antibacterial stuff for special occasions, and work.
5. I LOVE movies, but don't want Sienna to think that TV and movies are the only form of entertainment, so to balance out media that comes from other sources where Sienna is exposed to it, I try my best to limit her TV at home, and I only watch MY stuff after she's sleeping. Some who know me well may say I'm a bit neurotic about this one. I'm sure I'll ease up at somepoint, but for now it sure is cutting down on my own TV and movie watching!
6. Things have to be organized! At least my things. There have been 2 times in recent memory (probably in the last 7-8 years) where I have lost something, and I FREAK OUT! Jeff will testify on this, seriously it's a major freak out. I can't stand losing things because I feel like I keep organized enough that nothing should be lost, and I always think I know where it should have been and therefore it shouldn't have even been a possibility of losing it. (This would be where I usually blame someone else, namely Jeff, until I finally find whatever said lost thing is, and then usually discover to my dismay that it was my fault anyway.) For the most part I also keep track of where Jeff's keys are placed, because he tends to never put them in the SAME place and therefore he looses them alot, along with his cell phone, and wallet. Life goes much smoother with organization...
So that's it! I could keep going on much longer than this, but 6 is all I had to put down. Now I'm gonna pass this "tag" onto Carrie T., Carrie B., Emily, and Jan. Have fun girls!!
