Here's Dallen!
Happy New Year! Here are a couple pictures of Jeff and Dallen. I took them and I absolutely HAD to post them for everyone to see. I was so excited to have caught Dallen's smile on camera! Enjoy!

Here's our new years' message to all...
I hope everyone has had a happy holiday season! We’ve sure been busy here in the Ripplinger/Shaw household. Yes, we are still living with my Mom right now. It’s been wonderful that we could be here for the last several months, but we are ready to have our own home again. I think my Mom would agree that it’s about time for us to vacate her basement, although I know she’s sure going to miss the grandkids!
Jeff has been doing well. He’s working for FirsTier Bank as their Systems Administrator. He continues to be contracted out to the Broomfield Events Center also, which is one of his favorite things. There are always so many fun events going on there that he gets to see and hear about! New Kids on the Block performed there this past November and he said that was a riot, literally! We also get to go on occasion to Basketball and Hockey games there, Sienna absolutly loves the games! In Jeff’s spare time he usually has a computer to work on, but his favorite activity is hanging with the kids. He recently took Sienna to see High School Musical on Ice. It was quite fun for both of them, Sienna sang and danced the night away!
Speaking of Sienna and dancing… she sure keeps us all dancing around here! She is a very active, and imaginative 3 year old. Very rarely is she actually Sienna, typically she wants us to call her “Gabriella” (from High School Musical), or “Sharpay” (also from HSM), and she also pretends to be lots of other various characters from whatever she happens to be interested in at the time. We never quite know what to call her until she corrects us! We enrolled her in a ballet/tap class this past August, and she just had her first “mini-recital” a few weeks ago; it was so sweet! In her class is where she met her first real friend (that she picked on her own, I mean) Margaux. She happens to live just one street away from us, and the two of them plan their own “playdates” together in class before us Mom’s even get a say! Sometimes it works out, and other times they have to wait to accommodate the Moms’ schedules! It’s so much fun to watch her personality grow, and to see her developing into such a strong and creative little person!
Sienna is adapting very well in her new role as “big sister”. Dallen Robert Shaw was born just 2 days before Thanksgiving. Perfect timing, don’t you think? I was very thankful NOT to be pregnant anymore! Dallen looks like a perfect little cherub angel. I’m in love again. Amazing how these brand new tiny babies do that to a parent so fast. He’s still little enough that no real schedule has been found, but we’re not minding being sleep deprived yet. I had him at the doctor’s office at 5 weeks old, and he was already 11 lbs. 4oz! He’s growing fast!!
As far as I’m concerned, there’s not too much else that’s new in my life besides what I’ve already mentioned above. I’m blessed to have such a wonderful family. And I’m so grateful for all of the many blessings the Lord has given me in my life. I hope this letter finds you all happy and healthy. May you all be blessed with a prosperous new year!
