Boating fun

We have had so much fun on our recent boating adventures.  Last week, the boys and I (Jordan had to work) went out with our friends, the Crouch's.  Pictures from that day are after this post.  Thank you Ben and Sarah!  Today, the whole family went out on... our own boat!!  Jordan had a friend from work that was selling his boat, and we decided it would be a good investment for our family.  We didn't go out on the tube today(too cold), but we still had a good time testing out our new toy.

Vance is still not sure what to think about these boats.  He doesn't really like it when they go fast.  I think he'll get over that soon enough.

Me and Sarah on the tube.  We both ending up falling off at some point!
Vance saw all the sail boats in the distance, and said "Pirates!"

Happy Birthday Vance!!!

Vance is three!! How did this happen??? It's amazing how quickly these babies grow into crazy little boys!  And Vance is the definition of crazy.  Our house would be a completely different place without him!  Honestly, it would probably be a lot more peaceful, but we love him all the same.  :)  Happy birthday Vance!

The cake didn't turn out as well as I hoped it would, but it was still fun to make!

He loves the tool set that Grandma and Grandpa Miller got him

Vance is potty trained!

After working on this for a few weeks, I think I can make the declaration! He has done so well, and I am very proud of him.  NO MORE DIAPERS!!!!!!!  And, I accomplished my goal of getting him potty trained by the time I'm thirty with a couple months to spare.  :)

Mason is a bike rider!!

Jordan taught Mason how to ride his bike last weekend.  This is a huge accomplishment!!   Mason was really scared to do this, but Jordan was very persistent, and it paid off.  You should see Mason ride now!  After just a couple days, he is doing so good.  I am so proud of him.

Countdown to Kindergarten!

Like I did for Mason, I made a countdown to Kindergarten chain for Miles.  When we first made it the other day, there were 40 days until school.  Now it's only 34.   We're getting there!  It will be so weird to have two kids in school!  And nice too.  :)

Comfy, Vance???

At least someone is enjoying grocery shopping!
