UGH!!!!

My husbands 20 year old son is here in town AGAIN...and I'm am so sick of the drama when it comes to him! He has no job...and he doesn't do anything...and my husband is always running to his rescue!! I am so tired of him not standing up to him and telling him he is not his personal taxi service..blah, blah!! I'm just so irritated about it! Any suggestions on how to handle this?? And I DON'T want him spending the night here whatsoever!!!

I am back for a min!!

Hi friends! So so so sorry it's been so long since I posted, I am such a bad blogger...I should do it all the time because it is so theraputic!

I have found out in October that I am officially pregnant with my #2...due end of June or so!! I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself!!

Other than that..just been enjoying myself and being very busy! I hope this finds you all well..I miss this!!!

The latest!

Heyyyyyy!!

Just filling you in on the latest scoop!!! I will officially be trying to concieve my number two in October...I am so stoked. I just hope I get lucky because my tries are limited...please wish me luck and fxxxx and babydust!!! I hope we get timing mright for sure...my belly is nervous...butterflies.

All is well with Emily.....she is growing like a weed. Talking like a big girl daily..it's so cute..she will say "Mommy see me"....I love it!!!

Old and fat!!

Well since I decided to TTC # 2....I have been feeling old...and depressed like maybe I just can't have another baby, or afraid it will take forever to happen and I will be disappointed. Not to mention my RE thinks I need to lose weight...ugh as IF I didn't already know that one!!!!! TTC brings on a bunch of emotions that anyone that has been thru it or is going thru it, know what I am talking about!! So does anyone know what a 36 year old that's fat chances are? lol

I am sitting here babysitting for my neice Marley and she is asleep and Emily is playing quietly by herself...I thought I would try and update for you.

I AM starting to TTC #2 in October...I have went thru all that I need to and will be ready to start then..my tries are limited so please wish me luck. =) I will do my best to be more on top of my blog...the summer and my child have kept me reallybusy!!!

Another new baby and Graduation!!

I bet you all didn't know that I had step kids did you?? Well I do, I have 3 of them...2 boys and a girl...the boys...not going to go into it...BUTTTT my step daughter is graduating tomorrow...so my husband and I are making the trip to Indiana to see her graduate. I am so proud of her, she overcame so much!! I am also going to be leaving Emily OVERNIGHT for the very first time...my parents are going to be watching her for me. I'm hoping I can make it without breaking down. Your probably wondering why I'm not bringing her..well, it's going to be about a 6 hour drive..that is hard on little girls her age..and also, because my hubby's ex wife is a itchbay...and he doesn't want her causing problems infront of Em...like her saying she's not his etc. And also because we need some time alone and it will be nice. So please say a prayer for me and my parents...lol

My sis in law had her baby on June 3rd...a little girl...5.5 lbs and 19 inches. TINNNNNY, but ever so adorable. So now we have babies in every stage...hehe lucky us!!

Well I will blog about my trip when I return!!! Have a great weekend!

Helllllloooooo!!!!

Well I'm back...I'm always tongue tied when it comes to doing these blogs. I think I can never figure out what to type!

We had an awesome Easter, Mother's day etc. Emily is GROWING like a WEED...my goodness..the girl is talking up a storm...she can just about say anything you throw at her and it sounds sooooooo good as well...I have 2 sister in laws names Stephanie and she can say STEPH clear as a bell...both of them have said they have never heard a child her age say that. (I'm sure there are kids out there that do though) so I'm pretty proud of her. She keeps getting more teeth in and is doing a pretty good job not doing much complaining.

This past winter our neighbor died, he was an old man and was a wonderful neighbor. We knew it wasn't going to last forever and it didn't. So the house went up for sale, and lo and behold we have gotten some new neighbors recently. Well, they aren't very nice. They came in here acting like the own the place, cutting trees down, turning in the neighbors across the street etc. etc. the list goes on in what people can do in a short time. Welllllll...Fred and I found our property lines and put up a privacy fence...and it is great. We even found out we had more property than we thought so this was even better taking up half their yard with our fence!!!! So at least on this side of the fence I can save the trees etc.

Also, I am waiting for my new niece Marley to be born any day now. I'm sooo excited for this baby. It's been a few months since we had the other babies (whom are getting huge) and it will be awesome to have a little one again to hold. And then to top it off my brother whom is having the baby bought a house right on my street...so I can visit them often. I'm excited for that.

UPDATE

Emily is feeling much better...probably about 70% better...still having a couple puke episodes here and there and some mild diarhea..she is eating and drinking much better, so I think we are on the mend...I am feeling sick though!! Please keep your fingers crossed it doesn't turn into the flu, hopefully I'm just warn out.

Sick, TTC, birthday.

Quick update:

Emily has been so sick for 2 days, we had to take her to the hospital to be hydrated with fluids..she has stomach flu...she even had a flu shot. It's been horrible. We are managing to finally get some liquids to stay down.

On another note, it looks like TTC #2 may not happen. I don't have the insurance coverage I thought I did. So if so, I have to come to terms with only having one child. I think I can. Everything happens for a reason.

And today is my birthday, I'm 36 years old. I missed my celebration yesterday because Em was sick.

Feeling happy!

I'm feeling so happy this time of year! Spring is on it's way, the snow is melted and I can actually go outside and dress much cuter! I'm looking forward to Easter with Emily this year because it's going to be so FUN and exciting color easter eggs and hiding them. Thank god for all his good work!

On another note, today I am going to a cat scan with my mom today....she has been having sinus trouble...let's hope it is all ok.

Over the weekend my sister was here and we had family time with her and then a going away party on Sunday for my cousin who is leaving for FLORIDA..and it was all around a wonderful weekend. Emily saw all her grandparents. I will share pics! I hope there is not to many for ya!!

Soup and Tutu's!

Today, I made the most amazing SOUP!!!

It's called Chicken Chili-style soup. It tasted soooo good. I'm definately going to make this again for sure as a regular meal....Here is the recipe.

I used one rotisserie chicken (I bought it already cooked at the store)

1 medium onion

1 8oz package fresh mushrooms

5 cups chicken broth

1 4 oz can green chiles

3 cans cannelli beans

3 garlic cloves ( I only used two)

2 tsp cumin

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

I package mexican style cheese

sour cream

Tortilla chips

So here is what I did...

I sauteed the onion (chopped) in the bottom of the pan in about 2 tsp of olive oil until tender. Then I added the sliced fresh mushroom and cooked them for approx. 5 mins until tender...stirring occasionally. Then added the garlic, chles, cumin, oregano, chili powder and cyenne pepper, cook 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

Then stir in broth, beans (make sure they are drained and rinsed) and then chicken..I just used the rotisserie...took the meat off and put it in the pain. And then let it simmer. Then when ready to eat, add sour cream and shredded cheese and crush up tortilla chips and viola...an EXCELLENT tasting easy meal. You could probably doctor it up any way you want by adding jalepeno's etc.

Today Emily got her tutu from Tina...it is so cute!!! Thanks Tina for all your cutsie stuff!!

Insurance!

It seems as though, I have $8000 towards fertility on my insurance...80% providers, and 60% non providers? What does that mean??
So yeah, it looks like I'm all ready to go...I just have to have a reaquaintence appointment with my RE and then he will check my ovaries and uterus lining etc. to make sure nothing has changed since I had Emily. I have to make this appointment in the coming weeks. And then if all comes out ok, I will go ahead and try again in June...POSSIBLY sooner...just not sure yet! =)
I'm VERY nervous....I never expected to be going back.
I have to remember that GOD IS IN CONTROL and whatever happens happens.

16 MONTHS!!

Today, my Emily...is 16 months old!!!

I love her so much and I'm so happy she's in my life!!

Cat nap time and new baby!

Hi all!
Once again, I have not kept up on my blog like I should be. I know I have been tagged, and I will try and do that as soon as I can.

I also wanted to tell you that I have the go ahead to TTC baby #2 starting in June. I'm so excited...and scared. Is it ok to be scared??? Been a while!!

It's been a while since I've blogged, sometimes I just cannot keep up with reading the blogs I follow, commenting, writing my own...taking care of my little girl, facebook, myspace...keeping up with the house. You ALL know how busy life can be.
Not much going on.
Emily is growing up way toooooo fast, she is talking a lot more now...she does this really cute babbling...she knows what she is saying but no one else understands it. And she is also saying words...any word you can throw at her, she says it. I am enjoying her so much. I'm looking so forward for my next one!!
I have been getting a ton of hair clippies from Tina over at Sweet peas place..her stuff is so cute. I really appreciate all her hard work. If you haven't been over there...it's worth it to go. =)http://tina-sweetpeasplace.blogspot.com/
We had a couple of really warm days last week and it was such a teaser...I am wishing for the cold weather to end. I want to go outside and enjoy the days. I'm sick of being inside.

Winter blues!!

Wow, I just realized I have not blogged in a while.

I need to definately get more regular at my blogging like some of you wonderful ladies. =)

I haven't been up to much, but being a mother and a wife...going through the motions, you know how it is. My grandma is not doing too well these days...I think she may pass away soon. She's been in a home for a little while now and she's not herself and hasn't been for a few years, so I almost feel like I've already mourned her loss, it that makes any sense at all. All the same though, I will be very sad. My mother has been taking care of her day in and day out...so I will be happy to get my mother back as well...I hope that doesn't sound too selfish on my part. I have never had to go through what she is going through so I'm sure it has to be hard. I will keep you updated on this situation.

I am so sick of winter and snow right about now. I am feeling so fat and sluggish...I just want everything to clear up so that I can take Emily outside and play. I want her to see some green leaves and FLOWERS!!! I cannot wait. It is sunny today and it feels so good to see some sunshine. I am thankful for it.

Emily has been doing so much lately. She has been talking up a storm and just being so FUN. This is such an awesome age. I love it. She makes me laugh and laugh. She carries her babydoll around all the time too, which is so stinken cute. So glad I had her to help me stave off these winter blues. I will post a couple pics of her for you.

Bean soup!

Michelle asked me to blog the recipe for bean soup. So here goes....

Boil 1 bag navy beans and then take off heat and let sit for an hour. I used a ham bone from a ham we ate, but you can also purchase a couple of hamhocks. I cut up celery, carrots and onion real fine....( Nick won't even know they are in there Michelle, they cook down wayyyy small) And then about 3/4 teaspon thyme and a bay leaft, and some salt and pepper. You put all this into a crockpot on high...add the beans and let it simmer until it looks thick...Mash up the beans as best as you can with a tater masher or just leave them whole, that's up to you. I mash them...and viola...bean soup. And it is YUUUUUUUUUUMMY!!! I will post pics next time...sorry for not taking any. But I will leave you with a cute one, of my new nephew Isaac.
