Dinner

Well we're feeding the missionaries tonight and it should be fun. I think I'm going to make tacos because it's something I can make that doesn't take a lot of brains and I can make a bunch very easily. We tried to get Camille and Travis to come over so I could have some female interaction, but they were already busy, so it looks like it's just me, Haylie and the boys!! Haha.
My mom's been in Kawaii (sp?) since the 13th and gets back tonight, so we're all very excited. Hopefully we can get together with her soon. Haylie's been talking about going to Grandma's house the last few days and made us all walk from one end of Fred Meyer to the other this morning because "I see Grandma." She's a grandma's girl..on both sides!!
Well, I guess I better go downstairs and attempt to make some desert. I think Apple Crisp will be good. :)

Sunday 1/27

Kind of blurry, but I loved how the falling snow looks in the picture.

We were very sad to hear about President Hinckley. It was sort of a bittersweet moment for us. Church was cancelled today because of the weather, so I don't know if we would have found out at church or not... but our thoughts and prayers go out to the him and his family.
On a lighter note, we had fun staying at home as a family...!! Joe and Haylie played in the snow this afternoon and Haylie made snow angels. She thought catching snow in your mouth was pretty much the coolest thing in the world!

First Timers...

So, our friends Travis and Camille told us about this blog thingy and we decided, what the heck?! This is our attempt to be cool and fit in. Doomed to utter failure of course, but like we said, "What the heck?!" Just getting our page up and going, so more later!
