Some December wanderings...

Sometimes it is the little things that count.  I sometimes forget to include them in my ramblings about our life, but I have decided that it is not just the big events that make life memorable.  It's all the little things, added up...

December was full of such sweet little things.

Levi was advanced in rank in the boy scouts.  He is well on his way to becoming an Eagle scout.
Here he is pinning me with his advancement...

Kaelan mastered the "stilt" cans and was very proud of himself.
I was even more pleased that my walls would stop being abused by the constant tripping and flipping....

Should I tell him?!?!?
Naaah....
Maybe it's better if he doesn't know.

Another trip to White Oak Savanna.  Last time we planted bulbs, this time we just kept planting our backsides in the mud....
Oh well.  It was fun anyway.

Christmas break was SO relaxing.  We went no where, we hosted no one, we just stuck around home.  It was bittersweet, knowing that soon we would be leaving Oregon and this was our last Christmas in this house.  It made me very sad.

But we did manage to do a few fun things like going to a Blazers game.  It was my first, and it was very fun.  The boys were forever chanting "Cha-lu-pa" afterwards...
Taco bell.... Curse you for sponsoring the Blazers!!

Walking back to where we parked for the game (which is right by Joe's office in Portland) we stopped by his office to show the boys since they had never been there and he was no longer going to be there after January 22!

Trying not to be sad and sentimental....
Failing miserably
