I took cab to school, again!
I hope this is the last time! I'm like, broke? :(
No more late nights for me! Discipline.
After tutorial had project meeting with my econs group. It went really well, like we've alr got 6 articles out of 8. :) And decided on the market that we're gonna research on. :))
Went home, had lunch, off to school to meet pris and sam. Supposed to put up our publicity posters for Grab those Balls event but SAA noticeboard was like full of election posters! Interesting posters, election seems fun! Managed to put up our posters with the help of the strong wind. :p And sam told me that the announcement during econ lec went well! :))
Went popular to get some stuffs for Comm Skills presentation. Quite excited about it, hope everything goes well on wed! Went to the bank to get my transaction statement, nothing's wrong so it's a load off my shoulder now! *phew* Bought the handicraft materials for sunday school this sun too. Went to so many places today! And with the exceptionally hot weather, it really makes me even more tired.
Now, I'm gonna take a good nap and work on my Comm Skills presentation later on.
Potter's Hand
Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Saviour
I know for sure
all of my days are held in Your hands
Crafted into Your perfect plans
You gently called me into Your presence
Guiding me by Your Holy Spirit
Teach me Dear Lord
To live my life
Through your eyes
I'm captured by Your Holy calling
Set me apart
I know you're drawing me to Yourself
Lead me
Lord, I pray
Oh take me, mould me, use me, fill me
I give my life to the Potter's Hand
Oh call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the Potter's Hand
Love this song! :)) Hope it's a reflection to all christians out there! Ponder on the lyrics, it just take a few minutes.
Fire conference, here I come.

I'm super full! Just came back home from dinner with the crusaders. Many thoughts in my mind right now. Thanks Joel! You provoked my thinking. :)
Anyways Life Meeting was great! Met a new freshie today, Marie from BIT. Hope to see her in the future also. Grace, Michelle, Vanessa didn't come today. :( Hope to see 'em soon! Anyways had a great time of sharing during LM. There's this NUS student-to-be who shared about her mission trip in Japan. Really encouraged by her sharing as Tcher Linda was sharing about her prayer walk in Japan during cell too. I'm gonna share with her! We also had sharing by some TP crusaders about the CIA camp. :) Got to know more about the NUS Mission Team as well! I really hope God will bring revival to TP campus! :D
Had dinner with Jessica, Phyllis, Ben and Joel. Had a great time listening to Joel's weird theories. And yes, it's my second group dinner with TP friends! :) Anyways Joel asked Ben and I some questions which I think is worth to give it a thought. I will continue to think about it! :)
Oh yes! Found a fellow tambourinist, Phyllis! :)
Heh I'm missing my China mission trip all of a sudden! Here's a picture of Shui Trippers last Dec.

First half of the day was awfully bad. So I shall not talk about it and pray that the problem will be resolved soon.
BSG IG meeting! Release of main comm results and all of us got our post in the main comm. (: Later had discussion for our upcoming event, Grab Those Balls, it's actually a captain's ball event. So all BSG students, anticipate the fun! ((:
Grab Those Balls, 13th to 15th July
Had dinner with Priscilla and the junior main comm. We're like the only 2 freshie main comm. Felt a bit out at first but generally enjoyed the dinner. And I realised that it's my first time having group dinner with my TP friends!
Anyways, I'm still pretty shocked that I got the Vice President post. I guess it'll be challenging to me, additional stuff to cope with. And my choice of President is the President, congrats Pris! (:
Life meeting tmr! Can't wait! I'm sure it'll be a great time of fellowship, sharing of testimonies and a time of prayer. (:
*Dear chicken pox, please visit Joelle only after 15th July, thanks! (:

Yes I will. After OP and RW that is. (:
*It's time for me to learn how to say "No, I'm not free."

I'm back from my Senggarang trip! =D
Really thank God for protection and good health as I was really on high risk getting chicken pox. God is faithful! Even to two other Seng trippers, one had sudden shivers the night before and another had terrible headache the first night, I believed God had healed us all. =D
The start of Alpha course was not too bad. Really happy to see all the youths once again. The girls whom I really missed! But I'm quite sad to hear that one of the girls that I've contacted actually left home for three months alr. My heart really sank. She's the same age as me, she went through so many things, I really hope she'll come to know bout Christ. Pray pray pray!
It was really a fruitful trip! Although time management was really bad, I believe God has turned the situation to time whereby I can really spend talking to the girls. I spent a whole one hour talking to 3 girls (Jingmei, Jinghua and Xiaoyu) in the shelter as it was raining heavily. They sang songs for us, shared about their ambition and dreams and I taught 'em a christian song with sign language and Jingmei danced along with me! I spent time with Xiaoyu later on when she asked me questions like "Why did you believe in Jesus? Because of your parents?" Praise God! I shared with her and shared about my life testimony!
There's this girl, Yaling in my Alpha group, she asked questions like, "Why you people always come to Senggarang?" and "Why you people visit the church and not temple?" I believe the Holy Spirit is guiding this whole session even though there are really a lot of disturbance. =)
Great time spent with Li family sharing about my life. They were so interested in my love life. And so i shared a lil with them. Adolescent years! I hope I can be a big sister guiding them in their lives! Something that God has impressed me with during this trip:
Be their big sister and their help as they grow.
Thank you Lord! You brought me thru the trip! =D
KK took a really funny video and I hope he won't post it on YouTube!

The fever that I was anticipating is finally here! I just hope that I won't get the package with flu, cough, sore throat, etc all coming to visit at one go. Like what sherol sis always say, "Value Meal".
I think even if i eat 100 donuts now, it wouldn't be much of a help.
Anyways here's some pics from BSG Day - Bond as One!
Amber! "We love LY Joelle LY Joelle"
My crazy partner! LY! =D

Us at family camp wearing the our family shirt!
Happy family! After talking for one hour plus with Laksa, I've come to realise what a bad daughter/sister I am.
Although I really love my family, I guess it's only through actions I must show it. And I've failed doing so. I've hurt mummy and sherol sis so terribly without knowing it. My conscious is pricking me! It's painful! And I teared upon hearing that. What a bad girl I am!
*SIGH*
So... I'm gonna change. Because nothing's gonna be different without me taking actions!
And so... I will
Tidy up my room and maintain it
Help with housework without complaints
Spend quality time with mommy and sherol sis, and laksa!
Be a nice girl at home (do not talk back to mommy/sherol sis and hurt each other thru words of anger!)
I hope I can achieve these! Lord, help me! Well I know it takes time, but I'm willing to try.
Anyways I really thank God for Laksa in my life. The things that he said yesterday really touched me. He takes great care of me as a loving brother - encourage me, discipline me, advice me, etc. He even bought me a digi cam even though I did something really bad. But that's not the point. Thru him, I really learnt a lot.
Laksa said something which I think is rather funny:
"My dear girl, you must change now! It's not about having a boyfriend then you change because of him."
"I am the best sales person to your boyfriend because I've witness your growth this few years and watch you grow up. But you must have something for me to sell okay?"
People, anticipate changes in my life! =D

Wonderful experience with the Lord today! =D
Dear God, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! =D
I didn't turn up for worship practice on friday was I was having a bad toothache. But still I wanted to join in for worship today as supporting dancer. I decided to wear a white t shirt with my track pants. Before I left home, something just prompted me to bring my crew neck top along. And so, I brought.
It was during morning prayers that I realised that it's Father's Day today. Ever since I started dancing when I'm sec two, I am always on worship duty on Father's Day. So during last year's, I whispered a small prayer to God that "I want to dance for you every Father's Day!". I was thankful that God has answered my prayer to place me on duty but I was really apologetic that I didn't turn up for practice and I had no costume to change to.
So during the 1st service, Joann (dance I/C) received from the Lord that He wants me to join in the dance. But as Joann looked at how I'm dressed, she told the Lord, she can't let me join in because I was wearing very differently for the bottom. (I was wearing track pants and the dancers wearing white skirt) Then the Lord reminded her (I believe!) that there's a white skirt in the dance storeroom. So Joann told me to go and look for it. Amazing, the moment I opened the dance store, the first thing I saw was the white skirt!
Changed to the skirt during the ministering prayer session and managed to rush back before the fast songs. And just happen that Joann has an extra pair of ballet shoes for me! AND I DANCED! Once again, on Father's Day! =D
As for 2nd service, it was wonderful and I totally enjoyed myself during the worship! Praise God! =D
Are you amazed? I am! Totally!
1. Susan asked if I want to know the steps or just follow during worship the night before. And without hesitation, I told her I wanted to know the steps! (So I was prepared!)
2. I brought my white crew neck top for no reason.
3. The nicely ironed white skirt in the dance storeroom. I believe it's prepared by God!
4. Joann brought extra pair of ballet shoes without knowing why.
5. I'm reminded by the small prayer request that I've made last Father's Day.
It's His planning!
I gave my best in my dance today! I hope this would be a wonderful gift for the Lord today! Thank you for answering my prayer even though it's a really small request that I've actually overlooked. =P
Amazed
You dance over me
While I am unaware
You sing all around
But I never hear the sound
Lord I'm amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed by You
How You love me
How wide
How deep
How great
Is Your love for me
How wide, O how wide Lord
How deep, O how deep Lord
How great, O how great
Is Your love for me Lord
I'm amazed, amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed, amazed by You

I've SURVIVED. Tampines -> Potong Pasir -> Tampines -> Potong Pasir is torturous!
CIA camp was fun! Crusaders In Action! Felt quite weird in the beginning as I was really anticipating lots of people attending this camp. (TP RP and NYP) But nonetheless, it was still enjoyable and most importantly, fruitful! (Really fruitful! Read on!)
Appointed. Bear fruit. Called to action.
Key verse: John 15:16
Mass dance: Everything's changed
Theme song: Here I am
I've really learnt a lot during this camp. It has been a wonderful time catching up with God! It was one of the expectation of this camp and I acheived it. I just felt great! I guess for all these while, I have been serving God too much that sometimes I neglect spending time with Him.
I also realised that I have been leaning on my strength to live my life. There's way too many things happening in my life. Esp my studies, church commitments and my grandpa. Sometimes I just felt so tired that I feel like giving up. Visiting my grandpa to and fro at the hospital, rushing tutorials at night, sleeping late, catching up with lectures and the list goes on. I confess that in the midst of my bee life, sometimes I really never think of God. I leaned on my own strength.
The Joy of the Lord is my strength! I guess to really experience the real joy is to enjoy a intimate relationship with God and experiencing His love and grace each day. And now I know, I need to repair my relationship with the Lord. And I really look forward to the growth of my spiritual life and placing my faith in Him in my daily life. *anticipation!*
Trainings were given to us! Like how to share to christians and non christians. I've learned new methods to share! How to handle different responses and stuffs. On the first day, we were taught that we're ALL appointed! Yes, all! Second day we went thru trainings and had our Check Out. (a mini test to test on how we evangelise) Third day! Most exciting day! ACTION!
We went out with our CG to apply what we've learned the past two days. The first guy I approached is a christian and I shared with him about living a spirit filled life. And he prayed together with me! Amen! My CG was at city hall so we saw many youngsters hanging around. I wanted to approach 4 boys but I don't know why I hesitated. I guess it was fear. And finally when I plucked up my courage and wanted to approach them, Charlton appeared and asked if I need help! This really helped me a lot a lot! So we approached them, concentrated on one guy each and both of them received Christ! AMEN! I believe no matter what's their reason, God will work in their lives as they prayed the sinner prayer.
Overall it was wonderful and through this, I can understand God's love for the lost and the need for us christians to RESPOND to this call!
Total full gospel shared by the whole camp was 39 and 13 received Christ! AMEN! =D
God, you're amazing! Please teach me how to love you more each day. Instill in me this burden to want to know you deeper!
Anyway CG4 won the best group for our skit! Had lots of fun! Thanks CG4! Daniel, JC, Arlene, Jacq, Wenling and Charlton. Thanks for all the laughters and I've learned a lot from you guys during CG time!
*BSG Day was a success! Although from 80 contacts who wanted to turn up to 20 superly nice sub comm who turned up, we still had fun and great bonding time! Amber OEI!

I'm being abused! By nathan! Anyways please pray for the lil boy, he fell down from bed and got his left hand casted. But still he doesn't fail to wake me up every morning by pinching me!Frequent hitting from him really hurts! "Help!" This is my cry!
Wow i'm impressed by myself. I'm actually learning to be more responsible! Cheers for me! =] I've settled most of the project meetings and liased with Shireen for BSG Day. Well, I guess the old Joelle would have just go for the camp and enjoy herself and leave all these stuffs to the very last minute.
Yay I think my sister would be impressed by me too! Or probably she'd say "That's good. But i think you need to work on your room!" My room is really in a mess! Oh yes! Managed to borrow laptop from Laksa as well! Hope it will add convenience to my project meetings. =]
Guess i'll be real busy. May not blog so often. But people, do keep the tagboard going!
I wanna watch She's the Man!

Praise God! Term tests are over! =D
I'm pretty confident for the Microecons, Business Accounting and Principle of Management. As for CSA, I'm pretty confident that I won't fail THAT badly. Whatever it is, I still give thanks! Many help coming along during my preparation. And BIG thankies to all the encouragements! =D
Family camp over the weekends was not too bad. I wouldn't say it's wonderful. I'm actually expecting more. But nonetheless, I enjoyed myself. Most importantly, I've learned that relationship is very important in our life. At least for now, I guess family relationship is something that I must really learn to treasure and build on.
Had a great deal of fun playing volleyball and captain's ball with the youths with special guests like Pastor Seow and Rev Elvis! And a clown at the resort joined us as well. Great time of burning my fats. Anyways not much fats accumulated during the camp because the food was really a letdown! (Except for 2 uber delicious meals!)
Ramlee's burger and 100plus rocked! Those were delicacy for me during the camp. =P
Fellowships at night was great! Love it! My room was like the meeting place. All of us were like neighbours. I just love the company. Oh yes, not to mention, the manicure sessions! Not only the ladies, the guys did it as well! OMG! RYMers, look out for deren's and wenqi's nails! TMMers, look out for Laksa's!
Next three days' gonna be hectic! CIA camp!
Crusaders In Action!
CIA camp: 14th to 16th
BSG Day: 15th
How?!
Potong Pasir -> Tampines -> Potong Pasir
I hope I won't fall sick!
Shoo toothache, pls come another day!
At least for now, I guess family relationship is something that I must really learn to treasure and build on.

to me
she've changed..
alot
and now
i guess her secondary school friends are noticing the change
i still want to be her always-there friend very much
but seems like i'm always there
and she don't notice
from a friend who used to give me loads of..
encouragements
lil gifts to cheer me up
sms-es just to tell me tt she's there
and now
we're just hi-bye friend
prob i'll use the word acquaintance
still i'm happy to see her coping well in her life
having so many great friends around her to add colours to her life
but i guess..
she has probably forgot about me
the insignificant me who used to be significant in her life

hey thr!
prayer requests
yes your prayers are needed, badly!
1. my grandpa's health
he's hospitalised again from the nursing home
due to consistent fever, cough and the change of his skin colour
pls continue to uphold him in ur daily prayers!
PLEASE! :(
claim Jeremiah 1:10
amen!
2. my backache
okay, i know i'm gonna get scolding if i share this
i skipped my hospital check up
not intentionally though
prob 50% :p
it's aching again
no time to swim :(
so pray tt it doesnt get worse
esp during term test week
thanks!
3. my term tests
it's been AGES since i've sat for an authorised exam/test
stress seems to be knocking on my door
seriously i've not started studying
but my consistency in accounts and econs should do me fine
CSA is the killer
POM still quite managable
it's time for me to trust in the Lord again
as i always should
Lord, bring me thru!
4. my projects
gosh
it's piling up
this explains why i'm blogging at this hour
pray for good time management
procrastination kills
5. my spiritual life
i want to grow closer to God!
who doesn't want tt?
pray tt everyday i'll be disciplined to do my QT
balance my revision
and reading the bible
please pray! it's not by chance you see this entry!
thanks truckloads!
