The little boy whom I prayed for, sang "Jesus loves me yes I know" to, taught him how to give hi 5s which made him smile, held his hand and his cup of milk as he couldn't walk properly, walked him back all the way to the gate of the refugee camp.
The little girl I smiled to when she didn't want to join the rest for games, sang Thai Christian Songs to where she didn't understand and just smiled at me, who took the biscuit and milk and head back to the refugee camp without listening to God stories, saw her the very next morning worshipping God with us which gave me a shock, which was also an answered prayer.
I wonder how are they doing right now in the refugee camp with the intense situation. Especially the little boy.
Another girl that has been on my mind is Nong Huak. Heard that the neighbour of Radion shophouse moved to Bangkok. My prayer is that the Lord will continue to watch over that household and look after the little ones (Nong Pear, Nong Huak and Nong Khong).

What does God says when I am stressed?
Just when I am stressed about school work and everything else,
I prayed and ask God to encourage me with a verse during my Quiet Time.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
Just when I am stressed about school work and everything else,
I wanted to pray for myself.
"Pray for the people in Myanmar and Sichuan..."
I was just sharing with Qiuyun that the least we could do is really to be praying for them. I quietly asked in my heart, "Dear God, I want to help, but how?" He answered my prayer :) One of my Arts Appreciation classmate is from Sichuan and is running a donation drive in school. I am going to be helping him out this afternoon. Hope I can pray for him as well.

The moment I'm tugged under my blanket, enjoying the air con in my Mum's room, I am reminded of the Hmong Lao refugees, the Burmese and the people in Sichuan who might not even have shelter over their heads. I whispered a prayer for them and thanked God for the comfort I can have.
It reminded me of how blessed I am.
Reminded me of what's truly important and significant in our lives.

Stress! but with God's grace, I can :)
This is how I am feeling right now:
Self securing SIP can be quite tough. Preparing resume and writing cover letters (note the s) can be really tedious. I just completed my resume and 3 cover letters to send out to 3 different companies. I need to complete one more cover letter still!

School work is getting hectic/difficult/confusing. Stress but with God's grace still :) So afterall, I probably look a little less stress as compared to the picture I drew. God has been really good in my life, showing me lots of grace in many areas of my life. I have many thanksgivings but I am just too busy to jot it down. Took it down in my journal, will share soon! :D

Dear friend: Probably due to stress.

It's a choice. I gladly choose it :)
It has been a really tiring week for me. Having to handle school work, push cart, recruitment and many dance trainings (for GDOP and Celebration Dinner). Haven't been sleeping well most of the time as I'll wake up sneezing in the middle of the night which I totally have no idea why. This really made me kinda restless the next day.

However am still thankful that He sustained me through the week. Thankful for this important reminder by Irene: When we work, we work. When we pray, God works. How true. Am just thankful to the Lord for giving me strength to press on. I'm reminded to be prayerful at all times, leaning on His strength and not mine (I have no more strength left!)

I was praying to God before worship started today asking if He could encourage my heart :) God really never fails to satisfy my heart desire. He did! He encouraged me through the worship leader with this beautiful Psalm:

Over the weekend, the Lord has taught me a precious lesson too. (It seems like God always teaches me valuable lessons over the weekends! If you've noticed!) He taught me something about Love. Loving my family, the dearest people to my heart.
I'm reminded that Love is a choice.
It's when it's no longer self centred but other-person centred.
It's when it's inconvenient, yet you'll choose to do it for the person.
It's when you're really tired, yet you'll choose to do it, just for the person.
(Well of course, like Sherol sis has been telling me, Love comes with wisdom too!)
I really thank God that I am able to care for my brother-in-law through a simple gesture today. It actually brought much joy to me the whole of today! :)
God also gave me another opportunity to learn to love my Mum. My aunt's mother-in-law passed away and Mum has to be there at the wake. However, I do know that she doesn't like to attend family functions so I just told her, "Mum, I'll go with you." I'm actually glad I told her that because I could see that she feels better, even when she has to attend the wake. This is quite challenging actually as I have school tmr from 11am-6pm (+ other commitments to fulfil). I do have my struggles after making this decision but dear God, I gladly choose it :)
Ask of You to put Joy in my heart even as I continue to learn to love others.
