Sweet Comfort :)
Dear God, please let me know that You are near! I need Your peace and comfort.
And this was what happened after (approx) 15 minutes I prayed:
I stood in front of Simei MRT station and in front of me was a blind lady who was playing harmonica. She started playing a song which I find the tune really familiar and there when it hits the chorus.. Wow, it blew me away okay! She was playing the song, Take Me Deeper, one of my favourite worship songs :)
"Take me deeper
Deeper in love with You
Jesus hold me close in Your embrace
Take me deeper
Deeper than I've ever been before
I just want to love you more and more
How I long to be deeper in love" - Chorus of Take Me Deeper...
And there, while I am still enjoying the lovely tune, I received a message from Choomin (thanks girl! the message came at the right time to encourage my heart) which goes like this:
I was touched by the song - To the Only God. Who is able to keep us, able to keep us from falling. To the Only God. Be all glory and honor majesty and power, through all ages now and forever more." God is real and with us and we will not fall but make it through. Eph 1:13-14 :)
.
My God is so sweet :) Thank You dear God. I really appreciate it :)

Little Nong Juak's letter to me :)
I got Nong Juak's letter in Thai translated! :D (Thank you Serene!)
Hello! My name is ______. (She told me her name in Thai. Juak's her nickname if I am not wrong) I miss you. Now I'm studying in Primary 1. Hope that God will bless you sister! I miss all brothers and sisters who came here...
*She signed off*
Leaving her Khek Noi's address behind... :)
In her letter, she drew:
Beautiful scenery (mountains, clouds, sun)
A pond with seaweed and 2 yellow fishes
An Apple tree
A Mango tree
A garden full of red flowers (I think it's roses?)
A church :)
A pretty girl and a handsome guy...
If the girl is me. I wonder who's the guy? High possibility could be Edward because he took really good care of her during Children's outing :) Then again, probably these 2 person represents all brothers and sisters who went to Khek Noi last march :)
This made my day.
Thank you Nongnong :)

Little Blessings from Above :)
As I was doing my assignment, I was just thinking about how God really brought me through the past week. There's just so much so much to thank God for, despite the many ups and downs. This reminded me of a verse I read while reading James on my way to school for project meeting on Thursday:
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17
Thank you dear God for all the little gifts and blessings you've showered upon me the past week! Thank you again, because you are the everlasting and ever present God who do not change like shifting shadows. Your promise and Your Word is just so assuring :)
The many blessings in my life for the past week:
Thank God for my family! They've given me a lot of moral support the past week.
I thank God for Mummy who brewed herbal tea for because I told her I was having sore throat. When she saw that I was stressed over school work, she bought big packets of potato chips and a big bunch of bananas for me (because bananas helps to destress). She even gave me a hug one morning before I left house for project meeting and told me to "Press on and just do your best."
I thank God for Jie and Laksa to be supporting me in prayers. I like it how I can share with Laksa my troubles and to have him keeping me in prayers. I like it how I can spend time with Jie personally even though it's just a short while. I thank God for their love in practical ways as well. Prayer is definitely one of them and.. they got me a laptop to surprise me! :D They broke the news to me earlier to cheer me up as I was feeling rather stressed up! I don't know if they read my blog, but I just want to say thank you once again. That meant a lot :)
Thank God for funny project groupmates. After adding something to the content page and having to change the numberings one by one, out of (a bit of) frustration, I asked: Is there a faster way to do this?! Jamin answered: Yes. (and for a moment I was excited) Type faster lo. Haha! That made all of us laughed quite a bit!
Thank God for speaking to me through His Word. Thanks to Irene's encouragement to the ST about prayer I started reading James and God spoke to me about wisdom. This is something that I have been asking God for. And there in James it says:
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is the first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
James 3:17
Oh yes! I just realised that my internship ends on 28th November! Which means, I might be able to go for the Teens Service Learning Trip to Chiang Rai this coming December! Really hope I am able to make it. My dream of returning to Thailand might be coming true ;) Praying for it :)
I'm also thankful to God for Yeye's condition! Visited him and he's looking good! :D He seems to have more strength and he can open both his eyes! What's more? He can hold my hand tightly! As I was worshipping with him in the ward, I remembered how God used worship to change Mare (Host Mother in Khek Noi)'s life. I claimed that for Yeye as well. When I opened my eyes after singing a song, I saw that Yeye had his eyes closed while listening to the songs and opened his eyes after I finish singing :) Wow! I'm excited for Yeye's recovery! :D Strong willed Yeye I've got! Praise the Lord!
It feels so good to thank God! :)
Back to assignments now! Oh yes.. and how can I forget this:
Glad to have you in my project group Von! My motivator to finish up my individual assignments :) I'm sure you've had a great birthday! Share with me on Monday! :D
Pe Joelle miss her Nongnongs!
Here's Nong Juak, my little princess:
(and if you realise, Daniel and his kid has the same pose as us!)

Little Nong Juak has taught both Edward and myself many life lessons as we took care of her during Children's outing during mission trip. Miss her so much ;) Hope she's doing fine!
And how can I not miss Nong Huak?

云上太阳
或是躺卧在阴暗的幽谷
当你抬起头 你将会发现
主已为你我而预备
云上太阳它总不改变
虽然小雨洒在脸上
云上太阳它总不改变
哈 它不改变
This song never fails to bring comfort and peace to my heart. It speaks so much of God's assuring providence in all circumstances. Most importantly, it reminds me of God's unchanging love. This song paints a really beautiful picture, don't you think?
It's the stress period for me now. Many individual journals to be completed once again. Many projects having to plan and write reports. Thankful for the stress (though sometimes can be really bad :(), reminding me that I need to pray and that I need God's strength.
Thankful for sisters who have been praying. You girls know who you are :) I'm just thankful for each of you. Appreciate your prayers and little SMSes to encourage me to press on.
当你抬起头.. 你将会发现.. 主已为你我而预备 :) :) :)

Last paper before 2 weeks break!
Been eating from 6.30pm till now :p
Paper at 9am tmr and I've yet to start on anything yet.
I'm just thankful I attended lectures and did my tutorials faithfully.
Feel like painting a rainbow now...

because God has been so faithful...
Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
