Swim lessons & Swim Team

Swim lessons are always a highlight of the summer. Gracie, Hilary, and Carter learned a lot of great skills and had super instructors.

Little Fish Hilary
Hilary was always the back float winner in her class. Her teach just always had to stop her because she could float forever.
One of the best parts of lessons is being with friends. Rylee & Gracie...BBF
This was a big moment. Carter can be a bit wimpy. He had a great GUY instructor.

Another big swim moment for Carter. He went under water to get the duck...YEAH!!!!
Abbey joined the swim team this year. She worked out every morning at 7am. She really got to be quite good. She started not wanting to go to the meets. She went to the last few. Abbey cut seconds off her races each time. It was amazing to see.
It can be tiring work.
At disctricts the swimmers all wrote on themselves. I wasn't a big fan but oh well.
"Eat my Bubbles!"
Abbey was given the "Swimmer of the Year" award for the Jerome Swim Team.
What a great accomplishment!
Gracie can't wait to swim next year on the team!

Jr. Holstein Association Youth Field Day

The Holstein Association Youth field day was on July 10th at Seagull Bay dairy. The kids get to learn about clipping and judging cows.

Carter loved clipping. We had a hard time getting him to give anyone else a chance.

Here is everyone with their judging cards

It was a great day!

Banbury Hot Springs

It seems so hard to get together as friends. When these girls get together, they have a great time. I love their moms and enjoy being with them. We a had a great time swimming for several hours in the nice warm water. We were pretty much the only ones there which was fun.
Thanks for the great time!

Baby Grant

It is so fun to have family close by. Brandon and Lindsay had their first baby on July 5th. Grant Lyle Andersen was born at 10:17 PM in Twin Falls. He weighed 7 lb 8 oz and was 21 inches. My four kids couldn't be more excited. Carter can't wait for him to big enough to wrestle and play ball with.

4th of July

Our family loves the 4th of July. This year it fell on a Sunday. Gracie got baptized the day before. We were lucky enough to have Gramma, Poppy, and Colby come to church with us. Gracie wore her baptism dress and shared her testimony.  After church we headed down to Lewiston, Utah to stay with Grandma Kay. The celebration down there started on Monday.
Cute 4th of July outfits.
The last several years we have had the tradition of running in the Patriot Run. This was Hilary's first year doing the mile with her sisters and cousins. Our groups was small this year since everyone decided to have babies this year :)
Hilary excited to get going (but freezing in the shade)
Lined up ready to go...Gracie, Rachel, & Abbey

I even got to see one of my BBF's Jenny and her family who lives in Franklin. Her niece is the Jr. Miss down there this year and was in the parade.
