Last week during Sunday dinner we were sitting around thinking about what we should do for Columbus Day weekend. After thinking for a bit, we decided it would be fun to take the kids to Legoland. We heard that Legoland is a great place for younger kids. So on Thursday, our family, my brother's family and my parents loaded up 3 cars and headed to Carlsbad, Ca. We spent 2 AWESOME days at Legoland. This place was perfect for Jacob. He could go on almost every ride. Plus there were lots of playgrounds and a water park for to play at. On Saturday all of the kids went trick-or-treating at a cute Halloween village that was set up. Dylan had a great time too. I think he was so happy to be outside all day.
On the last day we drove to downtown LA and went shopping at the Santee Ally. I was a little scared of this place at first, but my mom and I had a great time shopping for handbags and bracelets. Here are some pictures of our weekend adventure.

This is a classic Jacob face when you ask him to smile.

This was one of Jacob's favorite ride. He was so excited to find a car he could drive himself.

This is how my dad and Dylan spent most of the day.

After 2 full days and no naps!
