Here are a few pictures of Dylan today. He seems to be a little grumpier then usual, but he has not slowed down. I had to pull him down from on top of the TV today. My dad says that since he can't walk, he climbs!

My Cute Dylan

(This post is really for my parents so they can see what happens when they decide to leave for a week!)

That is right, this morning Dylan fought the ladder, and the ladder won. A little bit earlier, John had just sent out an email to everyone at his office saying it was Friday and they should go out to lunch together. So a big group gathered to decide where to eat when I call John upset saying Dylan is hurt, there is blood everywhere and he needs to meet me at the hospital! Lucky for me John got there first and signed Dylan in so when we arrived a nurse rushed us in!! Which was so nice that we didn't have to wait. Anyway, the nurse STRONGLY suggested that Jacob should not see the doctor put stitches in Dylan so we had to call Aunt Shadolyn to come and pick up Jacob and grandma. The doctor decided that the big cut under his eye (there is also one on his eye lid) could be glued together which seemed to work. He did say that Dylan would be getting a BIG black eye in the next few days, sweet! As we were walking to our cars with a screaming baby John asks "who's hungry?"

Happy New Year!!

I know I am a little slow on updating, but here is a better late then never Christmas update.

We had a blast on Christmas. Jacob and Dylan both had BIG smiles all day long. This was the first year that Jacob was not completely scared of Santa . In fact on Christmas Eve Santa stop by our home to wish the grandkids a Merry Christmas. Well by the time Jacob got to the door Santa had left. So Jacob and I ran down the block to stop Santa and remind him to stop by our house that night. Here are some pictures of all our activities.

John's parents are serving a mission in India now, but I know they would be so proud of John working on a Ford Truck :)

O.k. so after reading my friends blog, I realize we are the ONLY family that does the Nativity Story Christmas Eve :) Here are a few pictures of our performance.

Jacob leaving treats for Santa

The truck was by far the best present of the day. Behind the truck was a HUGE Disney Car's tent. This tent was so cool, it even had lights on it. However both of the boys could have cared less about it. Oh well, live and learn!!

I just realized most of my Christmas day photos are on my mom camera. We had a few "Christmas Miracles" that day. My favorite is about this truck. When we put in the battery Christmas Eve, the truck would not start. We tried everything, with no luck. On Christmas morning the truck was still NOT working. Thankfully Jacob had no idea it actually moved. Anyway around 4 pm, my entire family was watching a movie while Jacob and his cousin sat in the non-moving truck in the entryway. All of the sudden we hear the truck GO. This was quickly followed by 8 screaming adults telling Jacob the take his foot off the gas before he runs into a wall or door. This was so funny, but Jacob was so excited/surprises that his cool new truck moved as well. As soon as it stopped raining outside we let Jacob take his new toy for a spin around the block. Anyway, I hope everyone is having a safe and happy new year!!
