Vegas Baby!!

A few weekend ago we decided to take a break and head up to Las Vegas!! Let me just say we had a BLAST. We saw some sharks, we went swimming, hung out with the Stubbs's (sorry if my kids trashed your beautiful home) and with John's nephew Craig.
As soon as we walked into our room (which was on the very top floor) Jacob and Dylan immediately ran to the door that went out to the balcony. Well once Dylan realized how high up he was he took his binky out of his mouth and threw it over the edge. Nice!

BRACE YOURSELF FOR A LOT OF PICTURES

Our room had a jacuzzi tub that the boys LOVED. Except when I would turn on the jets. Both boys would freak out. This was a little bit funny :)

The sharks at Mandalay Bay

Dylan went crazy when he saw the water show at the Bellajio

On the way home we had two random things happen to us. First of all, as we were driving all of the sudden these REALLY nice cars (think a Lamborghini, Maserati, you get the idea) came racing by us going well over 100 mph. They would pass us in groups, every few minutes John would pull into the slow lane and say "here comes some more." We found out it was a car race across the country. They were headed to the Grand Cayon. While it was very cool to see, it also meant that every cop around was on the freeway. We were actually a little happy to see one very nice Lexus was being pulled over.

The second random thing that happened to us happened right before the we crossed the Hoover Dam. We were in stop and go traffic (very typical) when all of the sudden 2 cars in front of us a guy jumps out of a truck. We kept watching when a few more men also jump out caring cameras. Anyway, our eyes go back to the first guy because their is something very familiar about him. All we can see is a man wearing Ed Hardy clothes from head to toe with a camera point on every car passing. As we pass him (with his camera on us) we realize it's Dennis Rodman!! He was in a Playboy Truck at the Hoover Dam, random!

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day!! Jacob was so excited about Mother's Day as well. Although he was a little disappointed when he woke up, went downstairs and realized there was not a pile of presents for him, sad I know. Here is a picture of me and the cutest boys in the world on Mother's Day!!

This picture was taken before church. We were lucky enough to hear a talk about a mother who NEVER took her kids to McDonald's or went out to eat and ALWAYS made sure they had a home cooked meal in their tummy. So apparently I am not on the right track to being mother of the year?

My sweet Jacob who is three years old thinks I am the best person in the entire world. How could you not love him? He LOVES going to Sunbeams and playing with his cousins. Also he misses his Uncle Ryan and always talks about how they played baseball together.

Then there is Dylan who is so full of energy the only word to describe him is WILD. I am constantly pulling him off of tables, bookcases and whatever he can climb on. Jacob will never leave my side, but Dylan is not afraid of anything. He loves to go and explore. He makes me laugh!! He has started nursery and so far he's not to sure about it. Next week, he will be 17 months old.

Finally it wouldn't be a Mother's Day without a shout out to our moms!!

This is one of my all time favorite picture.

(My dad is always happy to make the blog!)

My sweet grandma who always asks me "When are you going to order a girl?"

John's parents are serving a mission in India

Thanks John, Jacob and Dylan for the best Mother's Day EVER!!
