Introducing Ryan David!!!

We are so pleased to introduce you to

Ryan David
Born Sunday, March 14, 2010
At 8:59 am
Weighing in at 8lbs 14 oz
Measuring 22 inches
Ryan is by far my biggest baby. He is a good pound in a half heavier then my others. I am completely in love with this boy (including his LONG hands and feet)!! I thought going into the hospital to have my 3rd boy that I would be a pro at this. But I had so many fun surprises. The first and biggest being that this was my first child that I got to hold right after birth. Both Jacob and Dylan were quickly whisked away. I was able to hold him for a few hours, just the two of us. Poor John was so nice and waited patiently because he knew this was a first for me.
My parents brought the boys in to meet him a bit later. Jacob was excited, but I think Dylan just wanted the Popsicles the nurse had brought me. When it was time for the boys to go home, Dylan came over to me, grabbed my hand and said "lets go mommy!"

We all came home on Wednesday March 17, St. Patrick's Day!! Now I know everyone says this, but Ryan so far has been an AWESOME baby. I am totally and completely in love with this boy. Get ready for A LOT of pictures.

This is kind of funny and sad. About a week before Ryan was born, we were all walking to breakfast. I was crossing the street holding Dylan when I stepped in a crack in the road. Well, down I went. Thankfully I hit the ground first, so Dylan's fall was not as bad. Anyway my leg was cut up pretty bad and everyone at the hospital would ask what happened. Embarrassingly enough a nurse came up to me and said she was so sorry but she said she had to put a fall risk band on me and my door until my IV came out. I am so clumsy.

The Latest


We have had a busy last couple of months with lots of visitors. My brother Jeff and his family came to visit and then a little bit later my other brother Ryan came to visit. While my boys love both of their uncles, it is Uncle Ryan who they get very excited to see. Just a side note for you Ryan, today at Costco, the employee who help load our car must have resembled you in some way. As soon as Dylan saw him, both his arms and legs started moving quickly and he smiled and screamed "it's Uncle Ryan!! it's Uncle Ryan!!" Anyway, here are some fun pictures.

We went to Amazing Jake's and had an amazing time!! This was Dylan's first time at Amazing Jake's where he could actually enjoy the rides and games (basically he was allowed out of the stroller :)

What this picture fails to capture is that Dylan was singing happy birthday to the candle.

Finally, I have moved Dylan into a toddler bed. He has been booted out of his crib (which he loved) to make room for the new baby. I get asked all the time how he is doing with the transition. Well, you can see for yourself.
