First Day of school!!

I don't know how this happened, but I have 2 children in school this year! Jacob started Kindergarten and Dylan has started pre-school. The dreaded first day of kindergarten is over and we have all survived! John was able to go to work a little later so I could take Jacob to his class without the other boys. Jacob did great! No tears (from Jacob that is, I was another story :). This boy continues to amaze me. He is no longer this shy, timid boy who has to have his mommy right next to him. He was actually excited to start school, make new friends and have a big playground to play at. Everyday I pack him a bunch of cookies to take and pass out to his classmate. He is always asking me if he can buy his lunch instead to having to bring it, so today is the first day he is buying his lunch, we will see how this goes. Anyway, here are the first day pictures!

The boys and I

Wow! I look like such a mom here! It was a rough week having to get up so early! We are usually 8:30 or 9:00 kind of people!

1st day of Kindergarten on August 8Th, 2011!

A few Weeks later, Dylan started Ms. Chris's Class. Did was so excited to go school. He has been talking about it for months. I thought he would walk in with no problems. I was wrong. He broke down and cried when it final hit him that he was going to stay without me. Apparently, he cried for about 3 steps until he saw all the toys he gets to play with, then all was well! Love him!!

First day of pre-school on August 22, 2011!

Don't tell Jacob that Dylan went to the Lego store and got a new guy, then had lunch at CPK. :)

Finally, I am down to this sweet boy. I few times a week for a few hours, it is just me and Ryan (oh and sometimes Mr. James). He is now 18 months!! Which means the magic word, NURSERY!! Church will no longer be 3 hours of me (ok, really John) walking the halls and trying to keep him entertained. He is a sweetheart, but he is BUSY!! I am always having to pull him off the table (like right now) or chase him out of the bathroom. I love him, but he sure keeps us on our toes.

Anyway, with only one at home, I have decided it is time to add another one to the bunch. So let me introduce you to the newest member of our family...

Don't you love him! Beside Ryan pulling him down a few times, h has fit in perfectly. (I am assuming he is a he :)!
