Christmas Update

I am sitting here amazed it is Christmas Eve. I figured since John and the boys are watching a Christmas show, Ryan is napping and my dough for the cinnamon rolls is raising, I will quickly update my blog. We have had a busy December. Last Friday, the 16th, John had a flex day and we decided to go see the Temple lights. We have tried to see them a few times, but it has been cold and raining for most of December. Since John had the day off, we thought we would get to the Temple at 5:45 pm, right when it was getting dark . This work out perfect. Hardly anyone was there and we were able to walk around slowly, see all the lights and take some pictures.

We are in the Visitors' Center pointing at a picture of my grandmother Mary Furr standing on the Temple grounds. She played there as a child. (She is the little girl on the end.)

Jacob catching a rain drop. He thought he was so funny!

On Jacobs last day of school before Christmas break, they had a Jingle Jog. John, the boys and I went to participate. We all were deck out in bells ready to run around the field. After we all had lunch together in the cafeteria. Actually as we were waiting in line, Jacob informed us that he didn't really want to eat here (YES)!! So we said Merry Christmas to his teacher and headed out to lunch, Jacobs choice. Well, he happily said McDonald's (NO)!!

Here come the kindergartners!!!

Dancing on the basketball courts!

Go Jacob!!

Go Dylan!!

Naughty or Nice...

... It looks like Ryan already knows what list he is on!! :)

Maybe it is because tonight after I got him out of his bath and put his pj's on, he decided to climb into Jacob's bath with him!

My Dylan is 4!!!

I can hardly believe Dylan is 4! His birthday was November 19. All he wanted was a Luigi birthday party and a Batman coat. On Friday we took all the boys and all his cousins to Amazing Jakes for an amazing time!! We went bowling, played games, went on rides and ate a lot of food!! On Saturday, his actual birthday, John took the boys to see Puss in Boots, then we took Dylan to Toys R Us and finished the day with a Luigi Party at his favorite pizza place. Ryan, Piper and Siena even made it into town in time to party! On a side note, the only reason Dylan picked this place was because he knows a worker there whose name is actually Luigi. :)

The only picture I got at Amazing Jakes

Ready to PARTY!!

Dylan and his Batman boots.

These were quite a hit!!

Notes about Dylan

Dylan at four is such a sweetheart.

He is instantly everyones best friend.

His favorite color is green.

He loves vanilla ice cream with caramel.

His favorite song is Selina Gomez's "Love you like a love song." although currently it is the Glee version of "Mr. Grinch"

His favorite place to eat is CPK.

His favorite meal is hot dogs, apple slices and a go-gurt.

He wants to do EVERYTHING Jacob does, and he is happy to be Robin or Luigi!

Dylan Loves Legos and super heroes, (just like Jacob).

Dylan is drama, but at the same he is a blast to hang out with and is always saying the funniest things.

Happy Birthday Dylan!!!

You sure are one LOVED little boy!!!
