I am sitting here amazed it is Christmas Eve. I figured since John and the boys are watching a Christmas show, Ryan is napping and my dough for the cinnamon rolls is raising, I will quickly update my blog. We have had a busy December. Last Friday, the 16th, John had a flex day and we decided to go see the Temple lights. We have tried to see them a few times, but it has been cold and raining for most of December. Since John had the day off, we thought we would get to the Temple at 5:45 pm, right when it was getting dark . This work out perfect. Hardly anyone was there and we were able to walk around slowly, see all the lights and take some pictures.

We are in the
Visitors' Center pointing at a picture of my grandmother Mary
Furr standing on the Temple grounds. She played there as a child. (She is the little girl on the end.)

Jacob catching a rain drop. He thought he was so funny!

On Jacobs last day of school before Christmas break, they had a
Jingle Jog. John, the boys and I went to participate. We all were deck out in bells ready to run around the field. After we all had lunch together in the
cafeteria. Actually as we were
waiting in line, Jacob
informed us that he didn't really want to eat here (YES)!! So we said Merry Christmas to his teacher and headed out to lunch, Jacobs choice. Well, he
happily said
McDonald's (NO)!!

Here come the
kindergartners!!!
