Dress Up

Bryce likes to dress up as different characters. There are a few that are not pictured. We decided to devote this post to the Super Hero post. You will probably be able to recognize most of the Super Heroes pictured.

Superman Check out the hair. It wasn't long enough to "make it like a J" as Bryce wanted. We work with what he have.
Dash

Robin He also really likes batman, but we don't have that costume yet.

Super WHY He is not as well known. So you can see what he should look like, I have posted a picture of the real Super WHY.
I am soooo outdated. As I am posting this on my blog, Bryce is changing from Superman to his "Army Guy" costume. He said, "Army guys are funner than Super Heroes".

What do you guys think? Who is your favorite Super Hero? What Super Hero do you dress up like?

Bryce would really like to know.

Dr. Appointment

This is a video of Brandon gigglin'. He was sure in a good mood.

This video was taken a couple of months ago. There is a misconception that Brandon and Brinley are always happy. All of the pictures posted to this blog are of them smiling and happy. This video will show you this is not always the case. They have grown up a lot since November and actually enjoy "Tummy Time" now.

.

They went to the Dr. last week. They are both healthy and growing.
Brandon is:
13.94 lbs. (2 percentile for boys his age) Ave. Weight 17.7 for age
26.25 in. (42 pencentile for boys his age) Ave. Height 26.5 for age

Brinley is:
16.63 lbs. (62 percentile for girls her age) Ave. Weight 16.1 for age
26.75 in. (83 percentile for girls her age) Ave. Height 25.8 for age

They also got a number of shots. You have already seen how they can cry, so we didn't make a video of that to post on the blog.

6 Months Old

Well, it's official. Brandon and Brinley are now 6 months old! Where has the time gone? It seems like only last week that they were still in the hospital...

(My O.B. decided to take them a month early via emergency C-section because of preeclampsia).
Brandon, the oldest by 1 minute, was 4 pounds, 8 ounces. I still can't believe what a tiny little mouse he was...

Brinley was 7 pounds 1 ounce! Can you imagine how "healthy" she might have been if I had gone full term? :) She was practically born smiling with those chubby cheeks of hers.

We were so blessed their conditions were not life-threatening so they weren't hooked up to all these machines for very long.

Basically they just had to learn to eat. (Easier said than done). A month later, Brandon, then Brinley came home!

Sometimes they seem to sense each other...

But they can usually tune each other out routinely!

Bryce has been the best big brother ever, and we couldn't get along without him!

With all the work comes a lot of joy.

We are so glad to have these two new additions to our family!

Happy Half-birthday Brandon and Brinley!

Love, Mom
