We are down to 3 weeks!!! Wahoo!!! We had an appointment on Friday and the doctor said I've already started to dilate and I'm 70% effaced. Our little man is letting my body know that he wants to come soon! I could go in to labor tomorrow or I could still go past my due date, but I'm so excited to know that he's started to progress. We have another appointment on Tuesday so we'll see if he's any closer!
On Saturday we went to an all day birthing class. Now first of all, they shouldn't do that to pregnant women! It was really difficult to sit for that long, little to say I was very uncomfortable. But it was a refresher course and I feel a little more prepared for delivery.
The wonderful people at work threw us a shower on Thursday night and we have loads more stuff that is spread out in our living room. . . . yep, still trying to figure out where to put it all! We have almost everything we need and we still have one more shower to go. Thank you all for being such amazing people! I love working with you and both Ryan and I appreciate all your love and support:) We cannot wait to show off our little man! Palmer gets so excited when I tell him about all of the people around us who can't wait to meet him. And I'm so grateful that I can count on everyone at work. All the ladies watch out for me and check up on me all the time. I truly am blessed to work with the people I do. They assure me that if my water breaks they will drive me to the hospital! Ryan feels a little better about me working this close to the due date because he knows they will take care of me.
We are starting to take down guesses of Palmer's due date, weight and heighth. We'll see who guesses the closest! Our excitement just keeps building and we're getting on top of our list of to dos before the big day:)

Counting down the weeks!
The closer we get to the baby the more fun things we have planned. It makes the time fly by, which I love:) Over the past few weeks I have had a huge urge to nest!! I'm glad Ryan loves me and lets me do whatever I want. We managed to rearrange our whole house in the space of two days. We reorganzied storage so we can fit more baby stuff and furniture so we can fit the baby easier. I feel so much better now!
We had our first baby shower on Saturday and it was a blast! I'm already wondering where we're going to put everything. A baby needs a lot of stuff. Whether it's a boy or girl, just the essentials take up a ton of space. I absolutely love looking through his outfits and sorting all the fun things he has already.
I really wanted to find a picture of Christ for the baby's room and we found the perfect one! I was with my friend Whitney when I bought it and we both think the little boy sitting next to Christ looks like a mini Ryan. The photo is entitled "Grace of God" by Jay Bryant Ward.
I'm trying to keep myself busy. I am working on a car seat cover and I finished crocheting him a blanket a few months ago. I love crocheting so I think he'll have one or two more by the time he gets here:) I'm also trying to get a few scrapbooking pages ready and my friend Caren told me she would help me. She's wonderful at it!
We are getting more and more excited everyday! Palmer is getting so big and he's such an active baby. I am so grateful! 7 more weeks!!!!

BaBy UpDaTe
Baby Palmer makes me laugh. He only kicks a little in the middle of an extremely loud Nitro Jam car show, but he wont' stop kicking when I lay down to take a nap or go to sleep. He is a deep sleeper I guess! I hope I can get him to change his sleeping routine when he arrives or I will be napping during the day when he does and staying awake all night long! lol I absolutley love feeling him move though! It reassures me that he's happy and healthy. It amazes me how strong he's getting! He's going to be a tough little guy.
After a week long trip in Oregon (thank you Johnson family) I feel like I have popped! I'm getting bigger and bigger. The baby bump is not so little anymore. I have three more months to go! We'll see just how huge I get. Some days are still a little challenging, but I am thrilled that I get to see my little man soon! It's the little moments that make it all worth while. When I sing to him, he kicks and sometimes falls asleep. He kicks when Ryan comes into the room and starts talking. He kicks when I tell him about all of our wonderful family members that he'll get to meet soon! And even though there are some days I worry about every little thing I love the feeling of peace I get from the Lord. The Lord has been near me through this wonderful experience and I am so grateful! I can feel Palmer's sweet spirit and am so glad for the love he has already brought into our home. Our lives have been enriched and we feel so blessed!!
In Oregon I found the best deal on a swimsuit I wanted to get for Palmer. Any guesses on what it looks like? It's a SUPERMAN swimsuit. I'm hoping he'll like Superman as much as his mommy! (I absolutley love it!!) I got so excited because I have been waiting for it to go on sale and it finally did. . .. 40% off! Thank you outlet mall. Plus I found him the cutest little shirt for the summer. He is going to be a little stud muffin!!
I have another appointment next Thursday so I will continue to keep everyone posted!

BABY PALMER!
Yesterday, we finally got to know what our little one is! It's a boy!!! During the ultrasound he was moving around like crazy and it took three times to get him to open up his legs. I guess he's shy, unlike his daddy! lol He kept waving at us. It was so cute! It is a moment I will never forget! We are so excited to get things ready for a boy. We went and built him a monkey at Build-A-Bear. He's in a cute little cub scout uniform. We used the monkey to tell our families what the baby is! In my brother's terms, "It's a dude!" We also couldn't hold back and bought two outfits! Our little man is going to be so handsome. I can't wait to see his little face! We are so thrilled to have a healthy baby boy. We pray everything will go well and he will continue to develop on schedule. I can't wait till our next appointment so I can hear his little heart beat again!

Exciting News!
We are pregnant!!!! And couldn't be any happier. The due date is October 9th, adding one more birthday to that month:) In our family, we have loads of birthdays in October! We're jumping on the bandwagon. Being pregnant has definitley had it's challenges, but I hope to be past them soon! The thought of holding the baby for the very first time makes it all manageable!
We are slowly getting things ready for the baby and we hope to find out what it is in a few weeks. I'm 15 weeks along today, by the way:) I'm thinking it's a girl, but we'll see!!! We have two names picked out, one for a boy, one for a girl. We love Palmer David for a boy and I absolutely love Brinnley for a girl. We're not sure about Brinnley's middle name yet.
Our next appointment is next Friday and I can't wait!!! I'm hoping we can finally hear the heart beat. We've seen the baby move all over the place, just haven't heard that sweet sound yet! I have been horrible with keeping on top of the blog, so I hope I'll do better to let family and friends know everything that is going on with us! Till next time!!!!!

Our year in a nut shell
We have had so much fun during the holidays! Being together through it all was the best. We are so grateful for our families and we love them so much! Our holidays were filled with joy and laughter because of them.
As we enter a new year we thought we'd reflect on everything that's happened! It's been a good one:)
January-February: I picked out my wedding dress on New Year's Day.
We got our awesome car! You can spot the yellow thing from a mile away, we love it! And Ryan turned 20
March: We took our engagement pictures. I still love looking at them. Our awesome cousin Nicole did them for us!
We celebrated our 2 year anniversary, that is from when we had our first official date:)
April: I took my bridals! We finished up wedding plans
May: We took out our endowments in the Jordan River Temple. We loved being surrounded by family and the temple is our favorite place to be together!
We were married a week later in the Salt Lake Temple. The day could not have gone any better! It was the best day of our lives!!!
Our wonderful niece Eliza, joined our family. We love to spoil her and Leah:)
June: I turned 19!
July: Celebrated Independence Day with lots of swimming and breakfast up the canyon:)
We went camping with our friends. We loved it! We had struggles getting the tent up, but we finally succeeded!
August: Ryan quit his job that he didn't like at all!
Ryan's brother Adam was married to Jess in the Timpanogas Temple. We loved sharing their special day with them
Ryan started up at Discover Card-ten steps up from his old job! He couldn't be happier
September-October: Celebrated lots of family member's birthdays!
Dressed up as Rogue and Wolverine from X-men. It was one of Ryan's favorite costumes so far!
November: Celebrated 6 months of being married!!
Went as a family to see Harry Potter7 and Tangled. Both wonderful movies!
Celebrated our first big Thanksgiving with Ryan's family. Lots of good food:)
December: We went to The Lion House for a family tradition. We shared our testimonies, it was a day filled with the Spirit. A perfect way to welcome in Christmas!
We were able to see all of the family for Christmas! We opened presents on Christmas Eve and continued for 3 days!
This year has been amazing! We're so excited for this new year and many more experiences!!
