Here we go again!

Ok, so it has been 8 1/2 years, but that's still too soon to have a broken arm again! Especially the same arm! Luckily, it was his left that he broke falling off the slide when he was three, and again last night at the roller rink. It was Scout Fun Night (not very appropriately named). Poor Jared! And, since having to go to the ER, having it set, and not getting home until 1:30 am wasn't enough fun- I think he popped it out of place again this afternoon playing "Madden" on the Wii without permission. Oh joy!! To the Dr. we go again in the morning...

Age 3- broke the ulna
Age 11- broke the radius

Both between the wrist and elbow.

Crazy hair day!

Thanks for the idea, Pinterest!! I modified a bit, but I think it was a success and actually held up all day! (It was homecoming- spirit day and crazy hair day)

Happy Birthday to Lauren!!

She got a sewing machine from Steve and Me:

My Potty Animal!

I was planning to get around to the whole potty training thing...I promise! I just wanted to wait until school started and we got into the swing of things a little bit. I guess Lindsey had other plans. After we got back from vacation, Pa subtly suggested (ha!) that it was time, so I did get out the "little potty" for her...and the first time she sat on it, she was good to go! Literally!

I still had her in diapers and wasn't really pushing it when we went to a friend's birthday party at the bowling alley. Steve and I were both visiting with people and saying our goodbyes when I looked around and noticed Lindsey was nowhere in sight! My friend said she saw her go into the bathroom, so I went in and found her like this:

She had taken off her own diaper and the back of her shirt was a little wet (I guess she went for a dip). She even had the toilet paper ready to go! Watch and learn...this girl sees someone do something and she's determined to do it, too. One day I was mowing the yard and came in to check on the kids. Lindsey told me she had poo-pooed in the potty, and sure enough...she did. All by herself. Didn't even bother to tell anyone or ask for help. This girl has it down!! That was easy!
