I had to take a picture when I found Connor asleep on the couch with the remote right next to him. Already I am losing remote rights to my sons.

Since our kids have been old enough to trick-or-treat we have gone up to Jon's sisters house. The kids love being with their cousins. Our kids don't last long trick-or-treating but we are not complaining.

We had a fun night carving pumpkins. I love this time of year when the air starts to turn cold and the leaves are changing. It also drives me to get in the kitchen and start baking all the fall treats. Tonight we had pumpkin cinnamon rolls and pumpkin shakes.

After Ashley's wedding they had an open house planned in Virginia where Jacob is from. Danielle was planning on going out to the open house with my parents. Everyone planned on going to New York for 3 days after Virginia because my mom had never been. I decided last minute that I would get a ticket to New York and meet them there. I am so glad that I did. We sure packed a lot into a couple days but what a fun memorable trip.
