This weekend marked the very first time I used my wedding china...Yes it's been two years... But I finally got it out of the boxes in the garage and I like it even more than I remembered!

And the real reason you look at the blog! Here are some pictures of the sweet sweet boy! Almost all the glue has peeled off on his face and he is looking great!! He is getting so big sooo fast!!

Well today marked another milestone. Griff has officially grown out of the 3-6 month size and it now wearing the 6 month and some 6-9 month sizes. His problem is one I wish I had! He is LOOOONG and skinny! He is only 14.13 lbs. which is in the 20th percentile but he is 271/2 inches long which is in the 79th percentile! So he is long enough for the 6-9 month size but they are super baggy! Oh well I guess he will fill them out eventually. Maybe he'll be a late bloomer like his daddy! When Jordan was growing up he was always small...but if you know him now you know he really "blossomed!" Here are some pictures of Griffin in his pile of new clothes sizes. And the best thing is I didn't have to buy any of them! I stocked up on tons of sizes when I was pregnant and I saw things on sale. So these were all just waiting for him! Yes, I know there are a lot...But does that surprise anyone with me as his mother?

We bought Griffin the play tray for his bumbo last night. He was sure more interested in playing tug of war and trying to eat the tray than actually using it! ha ha.

Congratulations to my talented husband Jordan! He was just accepted as the new "contributing writer" for a popular personal finance website. This is a big deal for him as a) he LOVES to write and would secretly love to write a book someday and b) because some of the past writers for this site have gone on to work at big magazines like Forbes and Fortune! Yea Jordan! We are so proud of you!

This is Griffin's new way he likes to sleep! He always starts on his back or side and then rolls to this position part way through. It looks uncomfortable to me but I guess he likes it! I have also had to remove the waterproof crib pad that we used on top of his sheets because he has figured out how to untuck it and then rolls himself up in it! Oh well! I already do 50 million loads of laundry! What's another sheet or two!?

I finally picked a highchair. I picked it because it was rated number 1 on consumer reports and because it folds up really easily. I also decided we needed the play tray for Griffin's bumbo as he is loving playing in his chair more and more. We got the bumbo as a gift so I figure we can probably splurge on the $9.99 play tray! ha ha. I hope everyone is having a great week!

*Disclaimer* No, he's not really drinking it! Or actually putting his mouth on it. But he is holding it all on his own! Way to go G!

Everyday at 11 am Griffin takes a nap. I usually let him fall asleep on the couch or in our bed. Today I decided he needs to start taking naps in his own room and in his own bed...11:45 and he finally went to sleep. yay!

We had a great weekend with Erich and Ginna, Clark and Linds, and Potts! There was LOTS of food, laughter, and good times! We can't wait to do it again!

On Wednesday we went to the Ranger Game! It was so much fun! We decided that we don't ever want to sit in regular seats again...Only suites like this one! ha ha. Big thanks to my parents for babysitting Griff and to Steve for letting us borrow his car so we could valet for free! Here are some fun pictures!
