Griffin did fantastic at his first swimming lesson Monday. Before that lesson he was loving the water but totally scared to put his face in at all. He started getting there at the lesson and we have been practicing at home as you will see. He is now a pro!! :) He asks to get in the pool about 1,000 times a day and Jordan has been so sweet to swim with him every night so far after work. These videos are probably pretty boring to anyone except family- so I apologize in advance.

Gracie went swimming for the first time this weekend. She LOVED it!! She would splash herself in the face and then laugh and laugh. I only let her stay in 20 minutes because even with SPF 50 I am uber paranoid about her burning. But, it's great to know she loves the water.

I bought this swimsuit for her before she was born and I am so happy to see her

wearing it! Love her chubby legs.

We are so thankful for good friends who love our kids. We had a lovely cookout and swim party the other night.

Happy 10 Month Birthday! You have two pictures this month, because I just couldn't decide. :) You weigh 22 lbs and I am not sure how tall you are but you seem to be getting longer. You eat all sorts of table food now and love your yogurt the best. You are still taking 2 naps: one in the morning and one in the evening. You go to sleep at 7pm and sleep until about 6:45-7am. You have been sick again this month with your first, (and hopefully last,) bladder and kidney infection. You crawl and pull up everywhere and talk and dance constantly. You love to be down on the ground playing with toys, watching your brother, or tearing up magazines. You traveled on a plane again this month to PP and GG's Colorado cabin and you did great. Grace, you are the smiliest, happiest, loveliest baby around. We love you and are counting down these last two months of being a baby!

On Friday Granny brought over 2 pieces of furniture for me to use at our house. I love both of them!!! This first piece is extra special because it was my mom's when she was a girl. She did her homework at this desk and even addressed her wedding invitations here. So needless to say-it's very special to me! Granny told me it was in the Sears and Roebuck catalog in the early 1900's so that makes it old old old!

Our little Gracie girl has been super sick. She had chills, a high fever, and would just randomly start scream crying out of nowhere. After a catheder, blood work, 4 shots, and now starting 10 days of antibiotic she is getting better! She has a kidney and bladder infection and we are praying hard that she never ever gets one again.

Getting back to her old self.

Over the past 2 months I have read these 4 books.

The Carrie Diaries books were fun and easy reads. I read them both in just a couple of days on my Nook app. They are a must read for any SATC fan. I loved reading about Carrie's background and of course how she met the other 3 girls.

We have a couple of kid free weekend trips coming up soon and I am out of books to read. Any suggestions for a fun read along this same line?! Thanks!
