Where do we even begin on here! My last post was...ahem...a long time ago. Life has been so crazy and busy these past few months, and this poor blog is always placed on the back burner. Now that school is FINALLY over for Jordan and I this semester, I thought now would be a good time to give this blog some attention. For now I'll just sum up the last few months (more so for our journaling)...so if you want to keep reading, be my guest :)
Last post was in June...6 months ago. Since then we've been through 2 semesters in school, visited Colorado twice, spent conference weekend in St. George, celebrated our 1st anniversary, and worked. I quit my job at the dealership and Jordan got a new job at Macaroni Grill. It's been such a huge relief to be able to have Friday's and Saturday's off so I can really focus on school and all the wonderful homework that comes along with it. Quitting my job was a good decision since my program is so demanding. I'm lucky enough to have a husband who is willing to work hard and support us for the next few months until I finish school.
Speaking of school, I just finished my THIRD semester!! You have no idea how excited I am about this. 1st...I get a month long break from school. 2nd I am now an official SENIOR which means a new batch of students will come in January and I'll actually feel like I know what's going on compared to them. 3rd...I'm that much closer to August 23rd. GRADUATION. I know I shouldn't be wishing my time away, but this semester it was hard/exciting to see our seniors pass their board exams, realizing that it would be us in a matter of months. Anywho, I am absolutely loving school and can't wait for this next year.
Looking back through pictures I've taken, I feel like I don't know where to start with posting them. So for now, I'll just try and stay more up-to-date with the blog here..and I won't have to do another lame "update."

2-for-1
I'm behind on the updates, so here goes post #2 for the day! This is just an update with pictures of what we've been up to this summer. Nothing too exciting!
Jordan stays busy during the days with yardwork, cleaning up the house when needed, working at night, the occasional round of golf, and even some tournaments! I'm still working as hard as ever in school. Dental Hygiene school is probably the hardest thing I have ever done, and I will probably say that multiple times until graduation. ha. However, I still love this career, and I am excited to graduate and have a job! Almost a year away! (woohoo!) I have good days and bad days, but that's normal! I just have to remind myself on the bad days that I've had them before, I get through them, and move on. I believe it's 1,000x easier to get through the rough days with Jordan by my side. I can't tell you how many times he's been there to help reassure me, or comfort me when I just want to breakdown...I am one lucky girl!

*WARNING* picture overload. So if you can make it to the end of this post. Congrats..you are a champ!
We moved! Upstairs that is...and we are loving it.
BIG thanks to GG for being so generous and letting us live here!
Steve helped Jordan and I do taxes this year. This is one of the many nights Jordan spent working on taxes. Lizzy and I had fun with the camera. Love that girl!
Speaking of adorable nieces...Brooke and Vince had their baby girl. I can not even wait to meet her!
Hadley Brooklyn Meyer
The view from our driveway a few nights ago. Gotta love summer!
The other night, Katie and I got to have a girls night! After school we left for Salt Lake and went to the Rocket Summer concert. It was SO much fun to be there with Katie and sing and dance like crazy fools. The next morning, neither of us had much of a voice. It was well worth it.
Bryce Avary. I can't even begin to explain how amazing this concert was. I've seen him 3 times...but this was by far the best show!
Katie and I loved every single {sweaty} second of it.
oh and we were on the first/second row the entire time.
We got pushed around when the crowd went CRAZY!
Yup. Who got flowers TWICE in one week? This girl. Now, flowers are always appreciated and I love getting them...however, this is also a great indicator on how rough it was for me at school. 4 tests in one week. It was like finals all over again. Good thing I've got a loving Husband that knows exactly how to take care of me. He is so sweet. Wanna see another example??
Yup. So in love with this man. The other day after school, I plopped myself on the couch for a good 7 hour study session. Towards the end of the night I was struggling to stay awake and to get through the last few powerpoints. Jordan sat right down and started rubbing my feet. One of my most favorite things EVER. He even busted out the file and lotion for my heels!
Love him
Jordan might not appreciate this one, but this was just too funny! We BBQ'd the other night...and this was him cleaning the grill like a real man. haha cute gloves hun :)
Last but not least...I need to do a shout out to my girls. This is a super weird photo, but it totally captures our friendship. Danielle (left) and Tamori (middle) are two of the greatest friends. I don't know how I would get through school if I didn't have them there with me each and every day. We are constantly laughing...constantly. We have so many inside jokes, hilarious black-mail-worthy photos, productive study sessions, and the frequent pep talks. We have hit it off since day one...we are all so similar and I love it. I am so grateful for them!
Like I said...if you made it to this point in the post. Congrats! and thanks for spending the past 15 minutes of your life here :)
xoxoBirthday!
Even though my birthday was over a month ago, I still need to post pictures since it was also when we went to Colorado for our break! This was our first trip back to Colorado that was longer than 3 days. It was so nice to be able to stay an entire week! We spent our time with Jordan's family, spent some time at the salon, went to good movies, ate yummy food, went downtown to Denver for a night, and just relaxed! Thanks to James and Stacey for taking care of us, it was a much needed vacation!
Downtown Denver
We went to Denver with Matt and Kylie this night! We walked around a little bit, had dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, and went on a little ride. Jordan drove us all over Denver and gave us a tour. It was fun seeing where he played volleyball last year at Johnson and Wales.
Of course I had to by myself a Hard Rock pin for my collection!
Me and my oh-so-handsome man :)
The best Crème brulee I've ever had! This was my birthday dessert at the fancy Italian place we all went to. SO good. Thanks again James & Stacey!!
Now for the actual birthday...I spent the morning at school. It was the very first day back for the semester, so luckily I didn't have any homework to worry about that night! When I got out of school, Jordan and I headed up north to have dinner for Bart, mine and my Dad's birthday.
After we went back to the house and had cake and ice cream with the family.
It was a good week.
Facebook ALWAYS makes you feel good on your birthday, right?
played "draw something" with Bart. He's so great.
(I think the actual word was Norway)
Birthday loot
cards, candy, money, gifts from the kids, tons of hair/face products from Stacey, and of course we can't forget about the iPad from Jordan.
I was spoiled!

We're still alive...
We are still alive! I promise! It's been crazy the last few weeks...
short recap?
finished school, enjoyed a nice week in Colorado with the Meyer's, moved upstairs, started school (semester 2 of 5 here we go!), work, studying, birthday's, and our 6 month anniversary! I have pictures to upload..but for some reason it's a little difficult to do this from the ipad. So it is my goal to get it done this weekend since there is NO school OR work on Monday.

Week in photos
Just a quick post of the pictures from this past week. I'm enjoying my time off from school, and now that Jordan is finally done with his semester it's time to party! Last weekend Vince and Jordan had an Elder's Quorum BBQ on saturday. So after work I was able to join in the party. They had a pretty good turn out and we enjoyed some good food, good people, and good weather. Speaking of weather...I was able to lay out one day this week and re-read the hunger games. It was perfect...and probably the only day I'll be able to lay out this summer since school comes back into full swing in almost a week. (oy vey!) Also, on Monday it was our sweet Jaxon's 5th birthday! So I met up with him and Candice to go shopping at the City Creek Mall (which was AWESOME...seriously...so amazed at this mall). We also had lunch with Steve at Kneader's and then headed home to have cake and ice cream with the rest of the family. Thursday night we went to dinner with my Mom, Aunt Karen, and Grandma Rae before they spent the night at our house so they could go to women's conference at BYU. It was fun to have them stay with us! Also...can I just say that I have the best husband ever?? I say it a lot..but it's true. I came home from work the other night...and found a neatly wrapped gift on our table addressed to me. Seeing how my birthday was still 2 weeks away..it killed me knowing I had to wait! So thursday night...Jordan said I could open my gift. He totally spoiled me with an iPad! I couldn't believe it! I've always wanted one..especially for school, but could never get myself to make the purchase. So my sweet husband has been saving up for a while now so that he could surprise me with it. Love him. Anyways...that's the update for the week. Tomorrow we head out for Colorado for a week. I love the time I get with just Jordan and I driving to and from Colorado. It's fun to have that time to ourselves. We'll be back next sunday...only to start school, for the both of us, on that Monday! Life is good.
we went to the driving range saturday night with Vince and Brooke and some of their friends.
THE birthday present :)
Happy birthday Jaxon!
One of my most favorite things to do :)

Throwback
Now that finals are over and school is out for a solid 2.5 weeks...I have had nothing but time to kill! I've enjoyed my free time, but it is hard to have absolutely nothing to do. It's weird going from being busy 24/7 to nothing. SO, I made a "to-do" list that has things that need to be done, but are more so for me to be entertained. One of those items was to go through all the pictures on my laptop and organize them. Important...right? Anyways, I've had all our engagement pictures, wedding pictures, bridals, shower pictures, etc. all scrambled into one folder. While going through these photos...I found all the pictures of Jordan and I growing up...and they are SO hilarious. I just had to share!
Enjoy the picture overload
one of my favorites...how cute are his high tops?!

Easter Weekend
Last weekend Jordan and I spent saturday and sunday at my parents house again. We colored eggs, ate lots of good food, went to church on sunday and came home to do some easter egg hunting! Jordan and I were able to stuff some eggs and hide them for the kiddos to find. Then after the kids had their fun...the adults had a chance to find some eggs! My parents have done the BEST adult easter egg hunts in the past, and this year we had one since it was our first Easter as a couple. So my parents buy a ton of random goodies like candy, soda, cookies, laundry detergent, soap, lotions, paper towels, wipes, garbage bags, etc. and each prize corresponds with a number that we get in the eggs we find. I forgot to take my camera so all we have are iphone photos...but here are some pics of the weekend!
easter flowers from my love, colored eggs, deviled eggs, the main easter loot
ok, I had to put this picture in twice so you could get the idea of how AWESOME this is! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Uncle Jordan taught the kids how to crack the eggs on their heads...they LOOOOOVE him!
Jordan hiding eggs, Jordan opening our eggs, the winning numbers, and our take home pile!
how cute is this face?? Love that Wyatt!
It was also Paige's birthday on the 9th, so we celebrated a day early for the Princess.
I started the first of my 7 finals yesterday. 2 down...5 to go. Tuesday afternoon you can find me outside, in the sun, reading my books.
can't.even.wait.
