Look Who's ONE!!!

I cannot believe my baby girl is one! I am so happy and sad at the same time. Both kids are growing up so fast but that is life and why we cherish every moment! ( okay, maybe not every moment!haha) She is such a blessing and teaching me so many lessons in patience! Katie loves to scream!!! and scream loud!!! sometimes it is happy scream and sometimes it is VERY mad scream! We are going to keep working on that.haha As her pediatrician said today, she is very strong willed little girl and knows what she wants for sure! I know it will be good traits one day but right now it is a bit exhausting.
When she hands you something if your palms aren't facing upward she won't give it to you and if you don't turn them up quick enough she will do it for you!
She saids, "MaMa, DaDa, NO, NO and NO! yes, Gar (parr), bye bye, hi, nana" just today she started making w sounds.
She weighs 24 lbs (95%), 30 in (75%) in height.
Dr. Brown said we can give her milk but should go ahead and do 2% and skip the whole!haha
We love you so much Katie and can't wait to watch you grow! You are such a blessing from God!!

Two Days Later!

Two days after the snow it was about 67 degrees here so we took a walk to the elementary school in our neighborhood and played on the playground. Parr and Michael also played baseball. We let Parr ride his bike there so it took us a little while to get there!
The kids had so much fun! I love watching them play!
Playing in the tunnel! Parr was excited that katie could do this with him!

After sliding with Parr she kept trying to climb up the slide to go again!

They both loved this!!!

So big!
I loved watching her watch her shadow. So cute!
In deep conversation! He is his daddy's biggest fan and I just love it! Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it!
"Hey, I can play baseball too!"

Pre game run!haha

Snow 2011

We got our first and only snow of the year and Parr was super excited! It didn't last long but we did get to go out and sled down our driveway for the morning. After Katie went down for a nap Parr, mommy and daddy enjoyed the snow. It was gone by the next day but at least we got to enjoy it some!
This was what Parr used to slide down the driveway! His Perry sign!
Snowball fight!!!
He and Daddy had so much fun!
Don't know who was having more fun!

Katie got to go out for just a minute to feel the snow
We had given in because this is what she did while we stepped out to see the snow. It was pitiful!
