Graduation Day!!

Congratulations Josh!!  We are glad that he was able to walk
for graduation.  He will be official in August, but we are moving
and walking in April made sense.  Mom and Dad and Josh's Dad
were able to come up and see the ceremony and then we all went
out to eat.  It was a fun day and Evan and Brayden really enjoyed
having so many grandparents around to spoil them.  Overall it was
a good day.

Evan and Brayden - Paleontologists!

Here are Evan and Brayden digging for bones.  As you will see, they are very skilled in Paleontology!!

Dinosaur Museum

Josh's Dad came out to visit us and to see Josh graduate.  He was able to come in on a Wednesday and meet his grandkids for the first time.  Josh took him into his lab first thing as he was finishing up for the day.  They had lots of fun there.  But on Thursday we got to go to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point.  It was Fabulous!!  We had so much fun and enjoyed seeing all the things they had there as well as all of the great adventures the kids could have.  Evan really enjoyed brushing off the bones in the sand.  This is a slideshow of this fabulous event.  I'll post the video of Evan brushing off the bones next.

Here is a little something to catch you up!

Well, I guess I've been busy the last few weeks.  I started a new job in the mornings from 5am-8am.  I am working on the custodial crew that cleans the LDS Motion Picture Studio.  That is fun because it's pretty cool, but it's still cleaning!!  Actually, since we do the same tasks everyday things don't get that dirty so it really isn't that bad.  I have been wondering how I could get a crew into my house to clean all of it everyday. . . but then I remember I get to do that for free!!

We also have been trying to buy a house out in Ithaca, NY.  We found one that we think is going to be pretty great.  It should have some equity already in it, and with the plans we have it should help us out a bit when we finally graduate and move on to a real job and a real house :).  If you are interested in checking it out here is the link

We already have an accepted offer, so if any of you object. . . well, too late.  We are excited though.  Josh is going to fly out to close the deal on July 10th.  As long as the appraisal comes out good, the financing goes through, and the home inspection comes back clean the house is as good as ours!!

I decided that to write a blog and not put any pictures of the kids into it is really more of a waste of a blog.  So I finally took these pictures yesterday just so that I had some recent ones to post on my blog so I would write one and not have any more excuses for not updating it.  So, here they are.  Brayden had to wear this hat because his brother had a hat on.  Evan calls his outfit his soccer outfit.  He has to have the hat and his shoes on before he thinks it is complete.  He loves this outfit and would wear it everyday if he could!  They are so cute!!

Field Trip with Friends

Yesterday a couple of other girls in our quad and myself took our children up to Salt Lake City. We wanted to let them ride the "train" which is really Trax. We also took them to Temple Square. We had packed a lunch and we found a great place to eat outside. They had a lot of fun and were really great kids the whole time!! Here are our pictures from our "field trip". These are the same kids that Evan has been doing "pre-school" with, but we are all done now so they got this field trip as their last class!

This is Amber Lee, Evan Cobb and Morgan Tinling

Brayden had a lot of fun too!!

Evan and Brayden by this wonderfully large fountain outside the Church Office Building!!

We always LOVE the Christus Statue.  All the kids love being up there.

This is the wonderful spot that we found to eat at. From left to right:
Evan, Morgan, Boo and Caleb, Amber, Heather and Nathan (who you can't see), and Brayden. They all ate really well!

This is Amber, Evan and Morgan just "hanging out"!! They are so cute!!

They had SO much fun riding this "train"!! All of them just loved it!
