What we have been up to

Josh and I just celebrated our 6 year anniversary last wednesday. We had it all planned out what we were going to do Play Tennis at the club and then go to a nice dinner(I know not very creative but better than the usual "dinner and a movie") but then My manager called me at like noon and told me that I was supposed to be working that day. Apparently she chnaged my schedule from fridays to Wednesday ( As I requested three months ago). Of course I didn't know about it. So, Yeah. I went to work but it still turned out okey. In fact, Josh probably would have not scattered roses and candles in our bedroom and bathroom for me. He's such a sweet guy. We played Tennis and then went out to dinner last Friday instead. No, I don't know how to play Tennis at all. That was my first Tennis Lesson. It was harder then I thought. I'm glad Josh is teaching me. He's very patient and I don't feel stressed at all. I'm excited to learn and get better.
Oaks park is our favorite hang out so far. We love the Children's Museum too but We had to wait for the free pass from the Library. I want to take them there every week but it's hard to do it on my own. Good thing my friends at church don't mind helping me. Caleb is my toughest cookie every time we go places. I had to hold him while he struglles so we can go to the other rides. At the end of the day, I'm just beat and my arms hurt. Tomorrow we'll go with Holly. We'll see what will happen. I'm up for the challlenge. I just want them to have fun.

Photobucket Kaylee's favorite ride is the roller coaster

Caleb accidentally knocked over our floor lamp and cut open the top of his hand.(about 3/4 of an inch long). It turned out to be superficial but got it glued instead of stiched. I covered it with some gauze and a surgi- net so he won't pick at it. He loves it. His cut is almost healed now and he still wants to wear the net:)
Overall, we're doing great. We're looking forward to going camping with Kaylee. Holly will watch the boys. Oh, tonight Josh gave the boys a haircut and Kaylee and I went out and had our hair done as well. She was so excited. She has been begging me to cut her hair. I guess she's not like most little girls who like their hair long.

FIL-AM cuties' day

Photobucket
I work with these two lovely Filipino gals who are also married to Blond hunks like my honey:) They, too just had their babies and we have been trying to get together for a while now but we never got around our schedule. We finally did it last Wednesday. It felt really nice to speak our native language. I didn't realize how I missed being around Filipinos. We had native food as well and they were so good We ate a lot! I'm looking forward to our next play date.

We had to have a picture of them together. Kaylee was trying really hard to speak the language although we mostly couldn't understand what she was trying to say.

4th of July Weekend

This is a late entry. I've been really busy lately I didn't have time to blog. Normally I get to sit down and blog after the kids go to bed but my brother-in-law John got us hooked to the Magic game so Josh and I have been playing Magic almost every night:)
Anyway, we went to McKenzie with John and Heather (kids included)on the 4Th of July. We rented a house by the river which was nice except that it wasn't kid proof. My favorite part of the was dinner outside with the sound of the river in the background. I enjoyed playing Badminton with adults and Video taping the "4 girls" rock band:) It was nice to spend time with the kids. Kaylee didn't catch a fish but most important thing is she was able to spend a Little time with daddy. Josh and I need to do a real camping with her. Caleb had fun throwing rocks over and over while the the Josh and Kaylee fished. That kept him busy for the most part.
Ethan was so clingy Josh ended up making meals. He helped me a lot and I appreciate it.

I tried to upload a video of Josh, John and Heather playing rock band but it's taking too long and I'm too tired already so I'll try it again next time.

Children's Museum Pics

We'll have to come back. we didn't even get to see their new exhibit. Caleb didn't want to leave the Ambulance. Good thing Tito Dave was there to help or I would have had a hard time. Thanks guys for helping me. MAybe next time Josh can come with us. The kids had a great time though. That's all that matters.

Josh's Beans

Josh finally had his surgery last monday. He ended up having two stones in his Left Kidney( or beans as I call the kidneys because of their shape). The Doc was able to break them down so he can pee them out. His right bean didn't have any stone as seen on CAT scan. Turned out to be just a sloughed tissue, but he still ended up with bilateral stents which will come out in 2-3 weeks. Right now he's recovering nicely. He actually made dinner last night which probably made me look bad but he wanted hamburger and he always likes his meat marinated and cooked a special way ( pretty much his way) so he had to cook it himself. Thank you so much Stephanie for watching the kids (you're so nice to us. I'm so glad I have you for a friend not just part of the family) and Holly for bringing the kids home to us. I couldn't pick 'em up because Josh was hurting and didn't want me to leave him, and Merilee you are such a sweetheart. Thank you for volunteering to bring us dinner...Peach cobbleer was heaven as always.
