Now, about Kaylee...she was very excited to announce today after school that she can tie her shoelaces:) She kept repeating,"I can do it all by myself!". The little and simple things that make her happy is so humbling. Yesterday, she made a mess while eating an apple so, I told her to clean it up. She said that she already wiped it with her foot (socks and all). She said, that's what daddy told her to do:)
Oh really...

KAYLEE

• is five and a half.


• She is the second mom in the house. She loves being responsible for the boys. She likes helping them take a shower (mom and dad likes that too, less work for them). She likes getting them dressed and sometimes she even gives them breakfast and mom and dad get to sleep in:) She gets really hurt and upset when the boys will not let her help them because they only want mommy:(


• We received her first report card. She got +'s on almost all of the categories except that she needs to speed up a little bit on her work. I asked her what's taking her so long to finish her work and she said:"because I want it to look perfect". Oops! Did I do that to her?


• She always looks forward to daddy reading chapter books to her before bedtime. She is a good reader and loves homework more than ever.

Caleb

• will turn 3 on February 11.


• He is by far the easiest to discipline.


• He loves to read and count everything and anything.


• He likes to be involved in the kitchen just like his daddy.


• He loves signing and listening to High Five cd.


• He takes a good, long nap only if he sleeps in Kaylee's room.


• He wanted Ethan on time out today for breaking one of the toys:)


• not to forget, HE LOVES BANANA with peanut butter anytime of the day! We pretty much run to store to buy bananas every other day. I'm surprised he's not constipated at all:)

Ethan

• is a year and a half


• is a chocolate-milk-kinda-guy. All candies are called M&M's.


• He repeats everything we say sometimes. he is quite the talker. He loves to read the Book of Mormon stories (at least someone is reading his scriptures:) Yap! that is how we get to read our scriptures everyday.


• He knows how to annoy Caleb and get him to whine or cry--- he growls at him:) His ultimate offense--- grabbing Caleb's glasses. Poor Caleb... he is restrained with Ethan, since we get him in trouble when he hits.


• Let's see... he can count to ten, can sing his ABC but each one of the letters is called "ABC". knows red, circle and oblong.


• he likes to point and name body parts. He will only pick up toys if you sing, "clean up, clean up":)
