Avery Anne is a 5 year old!

Avery is now 5 and I can't believe we have a 5 year old in our house.
She is in preschool and loves it. She is also doing great in her class. In her Spring Assessment for Preschool Avery scored 10 points above where she needs to be for Kindergarten and we couldn't be more proud. Each week she is given homework packets and we have her work on 2 pages a day before she plays and she is so diligent and is really improving. We love watching her learn and it has been so fun to see her progress. According to her teachers Ms. Brenda and Ms. Barb, Avery really enjoys Math, Story Telling, and Centers. At home she definitely likes being the line leader and taking charge. I love to see her write her letters and especially spell her name. I also enjoy the family pictures she draws of us - Daddy always has a ton of curly hair ;).
Avery enjoys riding her scooter and her tricycle and wants to learn how to ride a bigger bike this year.

Phillip James III is 3!

Phillip is 3! And.........Potty Trained! No more diapers not even at night! So proud of him!
Phillip is still our sweet little man and every morning tells me "Good morning Mommy" and "I love you, Mom" - he gives me with a big hug, one of the best parts of my day.
For Phillip's birthday we got him is own scooter and he enjoys riding that, playing with his toy
lawn mower, and is learning to ride a tricycle. He enjoys jumping on the trampoline. Phillips words are improving and he knows his colors and can finally say, "orange." We've been working on annunciating words and it seems to be really helping. He still can't quite get the "C/K" sound like he can say "key", but he still doesn't say "car" he says "tar". He can count to 10 and we are working on letter recognition.
