That is what Steve termed the relationship Sandy and I have. I would say had, but both of us changing our blogs on the same day without talking about it is just...well this isn't the first time something like this has happened!

It has been a rough week. I got the wicked cold on Sunday afternoon and it has taken me out until today. I put in a half-day in the office and then had to come home to take an hour nap. The biggest bummer is that it has been sunny and mid-40's all week. Normally, I would get out on the bike to enjoy the sun or go make some runs if there were overnight snow. No such luck. Thus, I must live vicariously through others.

This guy almost makes me glad I don't have his occupation. Until I see these tanlines:


My legs haven't seen sun since...well it's been a long time. I didn't realize that kEck was riding for CSC. I thought he had other things going until tax day!

Pitchers and catchers report today. Things will be interesting with Schill injured. Look forward to the season regardless.


In the meantime, watch the Tour of Cali.

I kind of feel bad, but it sounds more and more like he is guilty.


Someone's lying!

So I didn't get the funding I was hoping to get for 08-09.

The Pats didn't win.

Coincidentally, I am not too bummed about either. Not getting the former will mean I can focus more on my research. About the latter, at least my boys won the October Classic! In general, I was reminded why I really never liked watching the Super Bowl. I wish that I had watched Donnie Darko instead. Watch it; its a thinker...

With plenty to think about, I find myself waking at 3AM with a wandering mind. Here are some of the thoughts:

Will I get funded for next year?

These are the deals that I think win championships.

I am glad my Uncle Joe is recovering well and almost on his way home.

I really miss the amount of snow at Alta, though Bridger is fun.

What are the Republicans thinking with their candidates?

What are the Democrats thinking with their candidates?

Will the Pats fall into a cursed state?

That was my favorite episode of the Soprano's. Although, Pine Barrens was great too.
