December Activities

Neighborhood party at the Dalton's.

Christmas pajama party with the Didericksen family.

Christmas Eve party with the Coons. Minute to win it!

Elf Dobby bringing the kids some new jammies. The kids love this tradition and eagerly await Dobby's silly little letters. Even though none of the boys believe any more...so sad... they still look forward to the traditions.

Brinley's Christmas Performances

Brinley's performance with her preschool class. She goes to Happy Hearts and Busy Hands. She loves it there and we feel fortunate that she is able to go there.

Brinley is in Performance Academy. They performed at the Festival of Trees, had a recital and then performed at Rocky Mountain Care. I love this group that she is in. They do such a good job. They had darling costumes and all of their songs are so cute. I love that they include songs that reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Brinley and her friend Maggie.

Brinley and Dad

She also has two cousins who are in the group as well. Chloe and Maci. Beautiful girls!

Halloween FUN!

Carving pumpkins with the Coons. Jay R. dressed up as an old lady and tried to scare the kids a little, but they just pretty much laughed! It was hilarious! He was out on the deck tapping on the window with his cane and holding our cat. He came in and told a story about a hairy toe. It was a fun night!

Brinley as a fairy princess. She was dead set on being this so we combined a couple costumes but she looked adorable!

Connor as a scary clown. No way was he taking off his mask for a picture! "Then I'm not scary MOM!"

Carson as a scary baby. He was really freaky actually. He wanted to be Chucky but we had a hard time finding a decent costume so this is what we ended up with. Hilarious!

Bryton as an old lady. He swears this is the last year he is dressing up. I hope not!

Disney Cruise 2011

We finally made it on our cruise! We went with our friends Amber and Jared and their family. We had an absolute blast!! We went to the Mexican Riviera for 7 nights. Much better than the 4 night one that we went on last year. Everything went smooth this time except for we forgot Brinley's WHOLE suitcase! Yep, not good. We got in LA the night before we were leaving so luckily we had some time to do a little shopping. I figured since the weather was nice that they would have summer clothes still out but I was wrong! It was winter clothes. Luckily we scrounged up enough summer clothes off the clearance racks! It was a little traumatizing for the princess until she discovered that she basically got to get a whole new wardrobe. Her eyes lit right up once she figured it out!

Getting ready for the setting sail party!

Making flubber in the kids lab! Definitely one of the highlights in the kids club! The mad scientist was a riot! He was so animated and made it so fun!

Brinley was really into the characters this time. Not even so much the princesses, but all the others. In fact, we never went to any of the princess gatherings, we just ran into them wandering through the halls and then she would stop for a picture. Daisy Duck was her favorite! And Minnie Mouse in her white dress. We were too late to get a picture with her that night!

Here we are at the character breakfast. I love that you have so much interaction with them!

Swimming FUN!

Here we are in Puerta Vallarta. The kids wanted to stop and try some coconut. Yep, it was nasty!

The beach we went to was beautiful. You get haggled non stop but we still had a blast! Amber and I even got serenaded to! LOL! You gotta love Mexico! The water was absolutely perfect. The kids could have swam for HOURS. Even I spent a lot of time in the water which usually doesn't happen because it's too cold. Loved it!

Here is our little chinese friend we met. She was in love with Brin. Every time we ran into her she wanted to take her to the gift shop. It was so cute. And once she found out Jay R. spoke chinese that was even better!

Here we are in Cabo, on our glass bottom boat that was amazing! LOL!

Lunch in Cabo was delicious!

Brin and Kailey. They were the best of buds!

Brin loved every night when we got back to our room with the chocolates and towel animals. She had to have her picture with them every night!

Pirate night is so much fun! You have dinner and like an hour later they serve a HUGE buffet with the biggest chicken legs I have ever seen!

Pirate party with dancing, fireworks, and Pirates of the Caribbean movie afterwards.

One night they have a Captain's Gala dessert extravaganza that is unbelievable! More desserts than you could ever imagine. Yeah, we ate a lot!!

the kids doing their "thing." Still have no idea what this means or where they got it but it makes me laugh every time they do it!

Here are the boys with the best waiter EVER! Quacey! We all loved this guy! He was so great with the kids. He had magic tricks every night for them. He made dinner time so much fun! This is our last day on the ship. It is always so hard to leave!
