Oh, Can-a-da...

We went to Canada to see this...

Beautiful. But, we saw it, the kids loved it, and then they were ready to move on.
So, we just walked around for a little bit waiting for my parents to arrive.
Here was our fabulous hotel.

I hadn't ever been here before and didn't realize how built up this area is. The kids loved walking the streets and Peyton loved the shopping. I love this picture of the boys!
We went back to the hotel to relax for a little bit and after awhile I realized that Peyton had been in the bathroom for a very long time...
Here's why- Disney Channel!! I guess Hannah Montana is way more cool
in the bathroom than in the sleeping area.
Here was the view from our room.
After Gee Gee and Pop arrived, we walked around looking for a not-so-crowded place to eat.
I don't think such a place exists around there!
That place reminded me of Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach.
Here's my mom showing Pate some pictures.
And here's one for all you single ladies out there...
OR, eye candy for the rest of us!
Oh yeah, nothing like a grown man on a pimped out tricycle!!
There was a Hershey's store very close to our hotel and we enjoyed it! They had delicious giant chocolate covered strawberries and huge chocolate chip cookies as well as every Hershey bar/candy ever made. My mom got a 1 pound Reese's peanut butter cup. It may not sound like much, but it was the size of a softball and it was yummy!

They also had giant 5 pound Hershey bars for $45.00!!

Both of the falls.
We took the kids to ride out on the Maid of the Mist.
I guess she thought that the blue slicker would keep her dry!

There was also a cool indoor water park like at the Great Wolf Lodge.

This red slide must have been pretty exciting.

Here we are hanging out in the Coca Cola shop. Boy was too busy with the
cherry cola float and didn't want to be bothered by joining us for the picture.

We had a fun couple of days, but we were ready to make the long trip back home.
We weren't on the road long before Boy Boy hit the brick wall. Twelve and a half hours later, we were back in Greensboro and Day Family Road Trip '09 was over.

Side note: Incase anyone is interested, you can get back into the US with a passport that has been expired for 2 years with no problems and no questions asked! Good to know. I feel so safe.
