Our Weekend

On Friday night the kids had a camp out at the school and they could not have been more excited. It was pretty cold, so Mommy passed on that family outing! I had a quiet evening on the couch watching TV. Actually, I was asleep by 9:30. Anyway, Dave and the kids got home Saturday morning around 9 and I made everyone breakfast. They were all talking about how much fun they had and how they couldn't wait to go again. I had planned on a girls morning of shopping with Peyton, but she said that she didn't feel good. Right after that, Boy Boy said that he felt sick.

And... this has pretty much been the scene at our house since then.

Both kids are sick with fevers and Peyton was throwing up last night. Right before I put the kids to bed a little bit ago, Cade's fever was at 103. Obviously, there will be no school for us tomorrow!

Fall Swap

Thank you Dolly!!
I got my fall swap gift last Friday but just got my pictures imported to my computer this morning. Dave brought this home from the Burg with him and my poor, sweet little girl thought that it was for her! Sorry, kiddo!

Dolly, I just love it all!
There is a cute little pumpkin pillow, caramel apple mix, a leaf cookie cutter, candy and a Starbucks gift card. Peyton and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE caramel apples with sprinkles!!
I make something special for the kid's teachers every Friday (usually cookies) so I will have to do leaf sugar cookies with colored frosting! I'll post pictures of them when I do! And who doesn't love a Starbuck card??!

Thank you, again, Dolly!
(I know the candy was for the kids, but I've had a lot of it! I was reading the note you put in there and Peyton said, "The candy is for us??!" And I told her that SOME of it was!!)

Another Mile Run!

This past Wednesday was Boy Boy's mile run at school.
Yes, even the kindergarten kids have to do it!

You can see the serious stretching these kids were doing...

Cade wanted Dave to run with him, so I was able to sit this one out! Yay!
Cade was so stressed about having to do this run...

...but he was great! He ran the entire time without stopping and
finished in 12 minutes and 5 seconds!! Woo! Hoo!
