i probably screwed up the envoy interview,
since i was more busy trying to contain my laughter than concentrate on what the scenarios were before making precise judgement on how to deal with them.
ah wells, and after the interview,
i think the regret that i should have taken it more seriously overwhelmed me.
gosh-
and i hope everyone else who went for the interview that day actually make it in! =D

then DSS was alright.
since my group came up with a whole list of qns we assumed our tutor could shoot us with and tried to perfect our little excel worksheet.
pure delight was how to describe it- after it was completed.

meeting royston and lynette was yet another experience.
as anxious as i was to get back to working on my PBL project with my group,
i brisk walked to the atrium to meet the 2 SCOs wanna-bes, to let them know more about me, before they really decide between ruth or me, to be their partner in joining the BA Society.
well-
turns out; they were really really nervous!
and i guess i had my own little fun in my head, observing them speak to me.

but i guess lynette was really nice!!!
she gave me 2 FOX sweets (which kind of saved me from my hunger pangs)
then i ran all the way back to blk 73!

i guess the consequences of not eating meals on time were severe.
gastric pains are seriously NO JOKE.
cause its 2317. and it still hurts.

but i think the gastric pain attack was timely.
i never knew my friends were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NICEEEE!
gosh-
i was moved- not to tears,
but my heart melted on the spot.
when i was cramming up and screaming inside with pain,
ZHUANG YING, FLO FLO AND RUTH appeared.
i seriously didnt call them.
didn't text them.
and *poof*
they are god-sent. (i suppose)
but really, nothing could describe how jubilated i felt.
and the pain was peanuts, compared to the joy they brought to me the moment they appeared.
this would probably be the most joyful gastric attack i've ever had.
the pain kind of disappeared as i walked to the award ceremony.
butterflies took over while i walked up front to share with everyone else what i went through during NPP.
i was a little nervous, but i guess it was heartwarming when i received smiles and laughters.
ruth's sharing was, seriously emotional.
and i guess, all in all, it wasn't all about us going up to share, but about all the DPA students coming together to reminisce the times we had in the past 3 months.

so yupp-
i took a long way back home.
and the journey was- good.

now?
i'm off to pack my bag for the dive trip tml!
GOSH- i'm darn anxious.

really really.

the 'high tea' and briefing was engaging in some way,
since i was really REALLY interested in ways to obtain more cca points in my course of study.
And i realised,
it wasn't just about attending such talks and briefings to do well in the CCA Pearls system-
it was about the involvement in various activities around the school.
haha! so i guess it means more fun!
yay- i'm gonna fill my calendar up this semester!

i really hope our Proposal for the Youth for Causes Project goes through.
and if we get our seed funding, i sincerely promise that i will do my utmost best to raise a lot A LOT of funds for the non-profit organisation! (HIGH POINT COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATION)
gosh- i'm really really keen on doing such a thing large scale.
moreover,
we're also gonna sell the cute and pretty calendars ruth has!

there's something exciting i wish to announce!
I SLEPT FOR 11 hours!
woooohoooooo~
thats exactly 2 hours more than 3 times of the amount of sleep i got yesterday.
xDD yeah- sounds like some piggy.
but i woke up today fresh and bright!
and i just got back from brunch with my mum and sis.

so imagine this.
my mum is rather. uh, round.
and her arms are pretty muscular.
so while shielding herself from the harmful uv rays coming from the sun,
she suddenly jerked!
and her umbrella went topsy turvy.
HAHA.
(oops- ok, im evil to laugh at my mum)
but seriously,
it was the funniest scene ever.

gosh-
and i did something absolutely retarded with my sister.
we bought an ice-cream cone topped with coloured rice candy,
sat down in front of the tv and started to watch power rangers!!
HAHAHAHA.
my-oh-my.
it was hilarious.
so an army was sent down from another galaxy to take over the world,
and a ordinary looking japanese rushes out of a fastfood restaurant to see that gladiators (or what are they called anyway?) have descended from the sky that is now looming with dark clouds overhead.
then girls start to scream and try to flee,
and then " BWAHAHAHA" (the evil commander of the gladiator appears and roars out in laughter) - though you can't exactly see his face cause of his mask that reveals no form of expression.
suddenly! the ordinary looking japanese boy takes out a candy-bar-look-a-liked gadget and screams "TRANSFORM!"
then ***** drum roll*****
poof- A RED RANGER APPEARS.
lols. then it was time for a commercial break.
haha. seriously,
i cannot believe i found them fascinating when i was younger.
oh wells- had a great time laughing in front of the tv.

i feel like some walking zombie today-
only had 3 hours of sleep.
and i almost went bonkers during midday.

LMS was ~~~ uh... oh.kay. at first.
talked about self esteem and the Johari window.
I was anxious for IAC throughout.
since there was a presentation, and my group members were utterly clueless and unprepared for it.
moreover,
the ideas, and everything was rushed out in a couple of hours,
so i wasn't exactly confident it was good.
however! (be it fortunate or not,)
Mr Aaron Vogt overslept-
and he was an hour and fourteen minutes late.
It was pretty amazing that the whole class actually waited that long, till he finally arrived.
And in the end,
no presentations were needed.
Our idea received positive feedback though!
and my group began to tick.
so we're gonna have a group meeting on monday!
and i kind of look forward to it.

Oh ya, back to topic.
so i was ridiculous.
i needed ruth's and flo's nric number to fill up an application form.
so i sent them a sms-
and before they replied, i picked up my phone,
thought 'oh- they're still in class ah!'
AND DIALED THEIR NUMBER!
i guess i was really crazy.
my actions contradicted my every thought.
haha.
and i ended up apologising to the two girls for disrupting their lesson.

discussion with melvin was... long, and warm.
we did produce results in the end, but i guess i sidetracked alot.
and my mind couldn't focus.

and then we had a Candle-Blowing-Session for zhuangying(happy belated birthday!)
the cake was recommended by RUTH!
and we decided on the strawberry-dunno-what cake.
LOLS- its deeeeee-lish.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ZHUANG YING and JOE!
Met up with ZHUANGYING (happy birthday!), Floflo and Ruth at Subway at Westmall for Brunch at 10.
since floflo and i were early,
we decided to scout for something for ZHUANGYING (happy birthday!).
and in the end, we printed out 2 really cute photos of ZHUANG YING (happy birthday!),
and got her a candle from BreadTalk.
then when she and ruth finally came, we settled at Subway and ATE FRESH! xD
Bought ZHUANG YING (happy birthday!) a 6- inch Cold Cut Trio on Honey Oat with extra bacon and extra cheese, topped with Lettuce, Onions, Cucumber, Tomatoes and Honey Mustard Sauce.
then to finish it off!, we (actually I luh;) stuck a candle straight into her sandwich and sang her a birthday song!
FANTASTIC RIGHT.



then she went on to make a serious serious birthday wish!
and i hope it comes true! =D

it was a delicious bash anyway.

i spent the whole of today feeling crappy.
started off my morning with 6 alarm clocks- 2 of which were my SISTER.
she was slamming me with bolsters and pillows-
till i jolted up cause i rolled and knocked my head on the wall while trying to avoid another direct hit on my waist.

then i found myself gulping down a cup of horrendous tasting soya cereal that was reddish cream in colour.
it was disgusting.
i felt it flipping in my tummy while walking to the bus interchange.

then came the shock of my life.
at 0745 (which indicates that im still 10 minutes early before the shuttle arrived),
the queue actually exceeded 200m!
goodness gracious me~
but fortunately, much to everyone else's despair,
i found a group of my friends stuck in the front portion of the queue.
and they kindly ushered me into the queue- which also means im doing something unethical; called cutting queues.
got up the bus with JOE LEE~ (Happy Birthday Joe!)
well seriously,
i guess i was much hated by the people who came early and spent time to queue up, while i simply cut in after arriving later.

then we started the first tutorial with ice melters.
(we broke the ice a billion times already)
so we had MAXIM Melvin and FHM FuRong as our main stars.
(they could be mascots or something. lol)

was rather disturbed during lecture.
the lecturer had this really shrill voice.
she had my attention throughout.
not because her words were captivating, but because they sounded like some banshee screaming.
oh my dear ears.

then zhuang ying was worried i was stressed up during lunch at canteen 3. (Happy Birthday Zhuang Ying!)

gobbled down the plate of beehoon ruth got me (thanks a billion!)
and felt this surge of energy somehow.
it didn't last long though, probably cause of the amount of calories it contained or something.

i guess my mood hit a record low somewhere in the middle.
nothing anyone said went through my brain processing system.
i just reacted instinctively.

got really frustrated somehow (sorry jesper!)

really, seriously, honestly.
if you haven't caught the SLIGHTEST, teeny weeny clue on why i was soooooo blue and moody a few days back,
here it is;
I had a tiff with my mum.
i don't know if i can call it a small and mild one,
since it was really impactful,
but to me,
it was already the mildest one i've encountered and overcome in centuries living with her.

the phase is over for now i guess.
so i start to heal my wounds,
while i synchronously prepare to gear myself up for yet another unexpected outburst from her.
lol.
and guess what.
though the storm is frightening,
the rainbow after it is always so captivating and tranquil.

i actually rushed out a business proposal for the Youth for Causes Project in 3 hours.
and i was dead beat.
i think i practically headed to lalaland the moment my head touched the pillow.
then i realise the tremendous amount of spelling and grammatical errors i made in the proposal.

but fortunately,
melvin saved the day.

also, i've actually booked a holiday for my family.
HOORAY-
yeap, its something i've done on impulse,
but i guess it went well,
since my mum didn't roar at me.
now i really hope my brother can take leave from work to join us!
its always fun to have an extra human in a trip!

the immense pressure that was suddenly thrown onto me was overwhelming.

i think i'll do what i'm really good at these few days- escape.
i guess its time i had a date with myself!

BAOC 08 ended yesterday!

it was fantabulous seriously.
the first day was fun.
the second day was fun.
and the third day was also FUN.

perhaps the only thing i didnt like about the camp was the creation of the passports.
apart from that, everything was GREAT.

the theme was Return of the Heroes-
so teams were actually named after superheroes.
i was in BATMAN! group 7, with RUTH, FANGFANG, BRIAN and GARY.
it is necessary to mention their names, since they played a significant role in making this whole event so enjoyable for me. lol.
had a great time with every other group of course.
(but the consequence is a SEXY VOICE with coarse undertones.)

first day was just about bonding, i guess.
and bonds did form somehow.
LOL.
then games on the second day were blooody tiring.
i had loads of fun stamping balloons with ruth during extermination.
and performances put up on the third day were bloody hilarious.
though the skits were nonsensical, they still made sense, even though they actually dont.
HAHA.
and MR BATMAN was crowned MR BAOC'08 during the pagaent!
hip hip hooray!
seriously, what's not to love?

and now, i'm dead beat.
my voice is getting sexier by the minute.
judging by the food my mum's cooking for dinner,
i guess it won't get any better either.

at first it was just riding a lousy single bike.
but when i switched to riding the double,
the experience was FANTASTIC.
first i rode with euminl-
and she tore her disney jeans.
then i rode with agnes all the way to the end-
and we crashed into this cute lil china girl.
and finally with valerie,
back to the shop.

didnt stay for the bbq though,
guess i was dead beat.
hitched a ride in christopher's 7 seater honda to ps before heading home.

today, there was this last minute ba meeting.
stoned there for a couple of hours before we were told to change the format from A4 to A3.
almost froze in the classroom while completing the editing.
the heavy rain didnt help much either.

ah well.
