After exiting wildwildwet today, I changed my handphone number over at the road show at Downtown East! :D :D and now I have free UNLIMITED sms! :D

And the replies I received were amusing.

First, were those from my secondary school friends. They asked, "KOH or PHUA?" And I happily forwarded the "Phua. :D" reply message to all of them. LOL! :D
Right, I forgot there was Sylvia Koh too. :P

Then, there were those who knew another Sylvia in BS. Roar. I suppose it's Sylvia Seow. So they would ask, "From LMS?" or "Which one?" And I happily forwarded the "Phua. :D" reply message to all of them.

Finally, there were some who knew me as Gary's Girlfriend. BIG ROAR. They asked "Are you Gary's Girlfriend or the other Sylvia?" And I replied, "Yeah, Gary's Girlfriend." -.-

hahaha. I always thought my name was rare. Apparently, I'm wrong. The world's growing smaller with an every increasing population. So I should just expect to know more and more Sylvias! :D

Incredibly, when I scrolled down my phonebook, I realized I had a couple of friends with the same names. I encountered some dilemma when I had to reply them too. HOHO.

I made this last last minute decision today, to forsake the trip to genting, upon hearing of a 10% Graded BCOMM1 Assignment next week.

I was anxious my group projects would start to halt because of my absence.
I was afraid I could not enroll into the Dip Plus Program should I miss the briefing.
I wanted to do the assignment next week for 10% of marks.
I was just reluctant to leave all that I had on my hand for a holiday I pre planned.

It's this small bump that appears on the outer or inner of your eyelid, and it stays for days and hours and minutes and seconds!

Well, I'm experiencing one now, and honestly, its hindering my eye sight. ROAR.
According to 'pros' amongst Netizens, an eye stye is just an eyelid oil gland clogged up with excessive oil, and is usually caused by increased Stress.

we were initially chatting randomly through sms and online a couple of hours during the last hours of the last day in october. And apparently, during those last hours when I was still 16, Gary was EXTREMELY EXCITED. even more than ME. -.- hoho.

then at 0000, he typed:

Then my phone exploded with a series of violent vibrations. So I picked it up.

***** drum rolls.
HE STARTED TO STRUM ON HIS GUITAR AND SANG HIS OWN VERSION OF A BIRTHDAY SONG. lol.
and I was too shocked for words. Seriously. So when he was done with the song, he wished me happy birthday, and hung up almost immediately. (of course we said 'bye'.)

THEN MY PHONE EXPLODED AGAIN 3 MINUTES LATER.
Then he said: "Just now my headset cannot use ah, then I couldn't hear myself play. But now my headset is working! So I want to try again. Here goes." And he started strumming and singing again. LOL.

absolutely delightful. I bet he was blushing all the way. HAHAH. So the awkward silence after he finished the song was dminished since he hung up not more than 10 seconds after he finishes the song. :D

and of course, my aunt, my dad, and my cousins wished me a great birthday too. I know they secretly wanted me to grow older soon so I could start treating them to dinners on my birthdays instead of vice versa. but AHEM** I'M STILL A MINOR! :D and during my period of infancy, I guess it's only logical and morally correct that a majority should do their part treat a minority to a meal right?! :D:D:D


Oh wells. But I still went to bed, with all the excitement drowning me. I was sooooo unprepared to turn 17. So much so, my birthday struck me very hard this year. I was clinging on so badly to my sixteen year old life that I almost forgot to embrace the joy that would come with a new year in my life. (:

Moreover, there was much to expect on my birthday this year (especially). Gary got me sooooooo Curious about what he had planned and all. The hints he dropped me not only MISLED me, but also LEFT ME CLUELESS. (Talk about a great surprise! xD)
Ruth, ZY and FLOFLO got all secretive all of a sudden too, and all that secrecy and mystery kept me in much suspense. :D hoho.

When I woke up (again) on the 1st November, I was kinda pissed. HONEST. My hair was in a mess, my sister had the tv blasting, and my mum was snapping at me. It couldn't get any beter.
But I think matters became clearer after I washed up. My mum gave me a RED PACKET! :D:D:D (w/ money of courseeeeee :P)

If you don't know how a red packet looks like; here goes.



My mum was seriously embarrassed to give me my birthday red packet, I don't know why either. HAHA. BUT HOORAY MUMMY! :D

Then we went out for a birthday breakfast at MACDONALDS! :D WEEEE! McGriddles was DA' BOMB mann!



Okay, I think you guys have heard it before, but THE MAPLE SYRUP INFUSED WITH THE MUFFIN TOGETHER WITH MELTED HOT CHEESE AND THE MEAT PATTY, TOPPED WITH THE SUNNY SIDE UP WAS OOSH! :D

THE BEST WAY TO START AN AWESOME BIRTHDAY MORNING!

But I was late for the Lunch Date with the girlsss! SO I ZOOMED down to Borders @ Wheelock's Place! :D

Well, initally when I met up with them, I was a little stunned because all 3 of them were purchasing something from Borders.
So I thought to myself, "HMMMM, Why are the girls suddenly so BOOKISH! T.T"
But it turned out, they were just buying PAPER Products. Like blank cards, blank organisers, and so on. LOL. (i think too much.. )

So we went on the CINELEISURE @ ORCHARD FOR LUNCH! Initially, it was Pastamania, then we switched our minds to Shokudo (or was it Shikudo?!) LOL! ANYWAY, it served delicious Japanese Pasta and Pizza.

That, was where all the fun began! :D

We ordered our food, then came the food. Flo and Ruth brought their cameras and we tested them out. They were supper duuperr speedy k. Just click, and SNAP.







After eating, ZY and I visited the Loo, and returned to 'discover' a BIG suprise! HAHAH. Seriously, I kinda guessed what would happen from the way ah zhuang was acting in the toilet. I wanted to bring her up to Level 9 to see the Wii and Lan Games, but she insisted on returning soon after she received an sms. LOL!

AND THERE WAS THE CAKE! :D:D:D:D:D:D A moussey cold and creamy Chocolate cake! :D (plus a candle!)




Then the birthday song began! :D





Then the birthday wish... (: (I was seriously wishing ok. -.-)



THEN I BLEW OUT THE CANDLES AND CUT THE CAKE!!!






HOHO: now here's the BEST part:

I love the Bottle! :D and it smells musky and deep. Wahahaha. I was still contemplating whether I should purchase it with half of my allowance for the next month. Looks like they made one wish come true! (NOTE: ** ONE. :P)

Oh, then Flo and Ruth felt really full and they couldn't finish the food. Then they saw the mousse on the cake and Florence had this Bright Thinking Lightbulb Flashing above her head! :D

THEY SMEARED MOUSSE ALL OVER THEIR TEETH AND ZY AND I SNAPPED A HELL LOAD OF PICTURES OF THEM! hahahaha!

It was seriously hilarious! They went on to use seaweed, sauce and dunno what not. GOODNESS.

Anyway, we paid up and left soon after all the commotion was made. HAHA. We went to the JewelFest 2008, outside TAKA! :D If you have read the news, the JewelFest this year had a unexpected turnover, which was a good thing! Though the world is sliding into a technical depression, people were still buying DIAMONDS. -.-



OK. BACK TO THE POINT!

We were basically just feeling dull and dark amongst the array of diamonds put on display. I FELT SO OUT OF PLACE. Its like knowing how relatively poor you are as compared to that rich angmoh who is staring at the exotic 24carat watch on display and scratching his moustache gently as if considering if he should get the one on the left or the one he had seem on anothe display set. -.-

ROAR. But What I Was Really Doing there, apart from feeling out of place, WAS WAITING FOR GARY! :D:D:D:D

So the clock finally ticked to 4pm. And Gary told me to wait infront of the christmas tree in takashimaya. :D

OKAY. FIRSTLY; everyone should know that a christmas tree is ROUND right. At the base.

So there is no absolute front! LOL! So ZY suggested we walked one round around the tree to see if Gary was there. But to no avail. LOL! So we just stood stationary in the assumed 'front' of the tree, and waited. xD

THEN HE APPEARED! :D WEEEEEE~ and he pulled out a bunch of roses from his back, WAHAHAHA.
(i didn't manage to take a picture of the roses. Because its kinda... withered already. HEEHEE. oops.)
Goodness. The roses were kinda frightening to me. I love roses. Honestly. Especially blood red ones. But goodness gracious, oh my dear me, lol. My heart jumped. xD The last time I received roses, was last year, and there were only 3. -.- This time, it was multiplied by 3. Goodness.

So ZY, Flo, Ruth bid us farewell and went to the jewelfest again. LOL. (I DON'T THINK THEY DID THOUGH, CAUSE I SAW THEM ON THE STREETS LIKE 5 MINUTES AFTER. :P)

Then Gary was doing self -talk, deciding whether to proceed with his PLAN A or PLAN B. I had seriously no idea what he was talking about at first.

Then he brought me to the sweets shop just to the left of Shawhouse. HOHO. It was packkkkkkeeeeddd to the limit! :D So we discarded PLAN A.

Then he executed PLAN B! At first he was telling me he would bring a waterfall right in front of me. LOL. Which I thought was seriously Impossible. Because the only waterfalls I could think of was the one at WILDWILDWET, or the little water feature at the NGEE ANN Bus stop, and the HUGE water display at the istana park. LOL!

So we took a bus down, to Sheraton Hotel! :D
ROAR HOHO.
THERE WAS A WATERFALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. (like seriously, splash splash waterfall!)



HEHEHE. But come to think of it, he didn't actually BRING IT TO ME. -.- He brought me to it. LOL. Make sense right?! xD

Anyway, we snacked at the little, Cafe beside the waterfall. He recommended the MUDPIE! hohoho. *evil grins* It was absolutely delicious.

So when it was first served, it looked like THAT!



After minutesssss of savouring it, IT WAS GONE! :P

Apparently, I kinda underestimated the horrific experience the Night Safari could deliver. :P

The main attraction was the 45 min Tram Ride. Goodness, they dedicated a whole 25 minutes to a whole series of continuous horrific scares by humans who dressed up as ghouls, vampires, demons, and spirits who died horrible deaths. LOL.

And Now, I suddenly feel that the creepy Vampire couple hanging behind me wasn't THAT scary already. -.- Considering the fact that they were seriously dead creatures -.-

I didn't expect my birthday to end THAT quick. And I did some preparations before hand to ensure I had a cushion to fall on should I fail to recover from the excitement of my 17th birthday.

His surprise was cute. HEEHEE. it was sent through the net.

There were Level 1 - Level 30. Honestly. We couldn't take Lvl 5 alr. I just wonder what would have happened if we didn't heed the lady boss's advice and ordered Lvl 7 instead. :D

We actually drank 6 jugs of water. LOL. and that kinda became the main course. :D
